Yeah, like I said, it works for me.

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2013

I am almost done. I'd like to ask permission for boots of striding and springing. The PFRPG ninja gets no speed bonus, so this helps me keep my expectations. Its price is 5,500, a bit over the amount you limited me to.

As an added bonus, it pretty much gets me finished.

5,500 is too high. Sorry man. :-/

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2013

Then I'll go with ninja boots, meaning elvenkind.

Almost there!

Same question I had and same decision after the answer...creepy.

Ah, friend. Then you display the wisdom of masters. What is your dojo?

The shadow asp dojo in the plane of shadows. Also DRA do you want Rose to use ancestral weapon? Have it work as is from paladin's divine bond? I was thinking a flat +1 to attack/damage or just damage or attack or something that goes up every 5 lvls so it would be a +5 at 20 not sure how ths works balance wise but I don't see a couple extra points being game breaking but I could be wrong.

Hmmm...put this in the OOC thread, let's talk about it there.

Will do boss man.

I'll be rioght at that thread for discussion - just reviewing stats. Choices and prose are all done. Just making sure he's tidy and awaiting your scrutiny, GMsama.

I am prepared to be tested for readiness, Sensei.

@Niel/San Pen: You still out there? I had someone drop out and you are my #1 alternate. If you're still interested, I'd love to have you on board, sir.

Of course I'm will to accept. I have only two worries. First, the pc's already posting are setting the bar kinda high- I hope I won't disappoint. Also, I envision myself as somewhat foreign- the majority on the pc's are Japanese influenced. I intend to more Chinese in style.
If that's acceptable, I'm in.

Dude, Kyras is of western influence, and hasn't been active for a century. It doesn't get much more 'foreign' than that!

Besides which, I don't think our DM would have chosen you if he didn't think you could pull it off...

Scarab Sages

Not sure if you are full up yet?

Character idea is a grizzled crossbowman Veteran (Fighter-Crossbowman 1/ Rogue-Sniper 1)

1d3 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
1d3 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 6, 4) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 5, 6) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 6, 3) = 20

Dangit, I posted in the wrong thread (I have about 8 open threads at this point, in my 'looking for a game' thread.

@Niel: Psionic Fox is right, mate; I don't have a problem with any of that, and I love your build of San Pen. Please head over to the OOC thread and say hi, and we'll finalize the details of how you'll fit in. In particular I love Tokine's idea that you and she would be friends. Let's shore it up and get you inserted into things.

@Uriel: Hey man, welcome! Couple things: characters in this game start at 6th level, so you got room to maneuver in the build.

Review everything that's in the first post on this thread to make sure you're cool with it, and then you'll maybe want to read what's in the IC thread thus far to see if you like what you see. If after doing this stuff you still want in, post some fluff for me and mechanics to back it up and we'll see where we're at. Right now I'm...well, basically not quite full. I can leave the party at its current number, but can be swayed by a really cool build. :-)

Scarab Sages

I assume that the D3+15/D10+6 stats are set? Meaning that< keep the 7, and can't sub out one of the 4D6 rolls (I'm ok with this, no big deal, if that is the case).

You can drop the 7, you just need to re-roll it the same way. You're correct in that you cannot sub in a 4d6 roll for a 1d10+6 roll. But since it's your lowest attribute, it's totally legal to drop it.

Scarab Sages

I'll just keep one of the 4D6 rolls instead, then.

That makes 18,16,13,15,16,17... Looks like a character of 'Olden Times' when we rolled best 3 of 5, back in '87...

I was also thinking Tiefling. However, a Good-Aligned one.
I'll rip him out in Hero labs and post him ASAP.

History

Spoiler:

None can truly say just where the tragedy of Zadkiel' s birth happened. What is known is that a traveling Priestess of Desna found a swaddled babe beneath an oak tree, left to whatever Fate would see fit to deliver the poor little thing. This Priestess, Naryssa, took the babe up,pulling back the folds of the blanket, and seeing just why some scared soul might do such a despcable thing as abandon a child.
The infant was human...mostly. Skin of a pale greyish cast, what hair he had upon his head a jet black, and his eyes... The babe had yellow eyes, like unto a cat's, squinting to tiny slits as he peered back at his would be saviour. With a smile, Naryssa deposited the infant within her haversack, and continued on her way. Fed upon whatever food her God provided, he grew stronger, healthier, for in truth he was near death when she had found him. Still, she was no mother, and not two weeks later, she left him with an Elven Monastery in Enhathlad known for giving a home to such unwanted children.
Leaving him with naught but a holy symbol that she had fashioned from the very Oak under which she found him, and the name Zadkiel... a joke that the Monks understood. For Zadkiel was a Celestial of Mercy, and perhaps (With Desna's help) the babe might grow into a man on merit and motives less dark than his obvious heritage...

Life with the Monks was filled with toil, as well as much in the ways of athletics. Zadkiel excelled well enough at these things, but he was ever seeking about in the dark, exploring alone, away from the others. Not all of the other children liked the young Tiefling, despite the Monks' rules against such attitudes. Soon, he began to garner more than his share of bullying, learning that he had better gain skill with his fists,if he were to survive. Still, while the majority of the other children took up a monastic life, Zadkiel was not suited for such pursuits. He longed to see the World, to experience a life of adventure. He longed to, if possible, meet the woman who had saved him that fateful day.
With a heavy heart, barely 15, he set out one mid of night, never to return.

13 years later, Zadkiel is a different man. He has served in a dozen armies, Sniper, Bodyguard, Scout. A mercenary renowned for his skill with the crossbow, a weapon usually attributed to levies, peasants and common soldiers. Time and again, he has used his weapon,Whisper, to end some squabble between lords, to do what he can to set wrongs to right. However, not all conflicts are easily drawn in clear lines of black and white. And so, not a week past, Zadkiel found himself staring down the sights of his crossbow at a young boy. He didn't know the reason that his employer wanted the child dead, but he knew one thing: He was no murderer of children. So, slipping off into the night, he fled. Whatever squabble between families and houses in that place would be settled without his weapons, without him tarnishing his Soul a little more.

And so, two days past, he stepped off of a sleek coastal vessel, it's dragon-wing sails a sight different from the ships he was familiar with. He had barely a dozen coins to his name, but he had his integrity and purpose. He was somewhere new, somewhere where no authorities (Yet, he mused, as he pitched a copper to a merchant for a bowl of noodles) were after him. Surely there might be some work here for a man of his skills, with his Deadeye Aim. And perhaps, there would be a sign of Her as well.

i decided to seperate the nekogami sisters. i realized that would be something best suited to the leadership feat. which may or may not be allowed. in seperating the sisters and making them seperate enough for seperate pbps. it allows for them to have differences in lifestyle. and it adds flavor to the both of them. so i decided to retcon the older sister with the assumption that her younger sister had been seperated from her for a long while. which allows me to use the 2 in 2 seperate pbps. and allows me to clean up the ronin's profile a little more.

i so wanted to be a part of one of these pbps. and i think permenently seperating the nekogami sisters is a good idea. i realized that bringing both was basically asking for 2 pcs. and that seperating the 2 was a much better idea and far easier to clean up.
