As an adult, Tikkle was supposed to be a Brawler, but I realize that I spec'd him a little wrong. The other universe Tikkle was stronger and got to start with Brawler armor, Bane gloves, and the Krillin Knife... Gashka would make a good Brawler, since that is Paizo's concession for those that wanna be barehanded and chaotic, and I think Tikkle is actually gonna go with Swashbuckler.
If you haven't read them yet, there is a playtest guide on them.
Maybe I could get access to a Panache ability by random chance?

Gashka |

Hehe..Love ya Tickle, you so funny. LOL Henry is still asleep and I'm getting bored and impatient. Hmph The barbarian angle ain't bad ether though. I do have the ability to use weapons though....depending on what I end up choosing I might have to change some things around if that's acceptable?

Gashka |

Okay, I don't really have to change things cuz the weapon familiarity comes from my racial and class traits. I could do just about anything at this point.

Gashka |

Oh camping...that sounds fun...haven't been in a long time. Funny, seems like someone else we know is planning a camping trip too. Huh, seems like everyone is getting to go camping except us. *pouty lip*

Gashka |

Okay, I'm trying to decide between Barbarian and Brawler. I was thinking about combining Barbi and Brawler, but that would be like a blend of three different classes since Brawler is already a blend of something monkish and fighter. ARrgghhh....too many choices.

Gashka |

I think because of who she is and how she has grown up so far, we are going to stick with Brawler! I think I'm gonna go straight brawler though, I don't want to confuse myself by taking on too much or dilute the character too much. I do best when I concentrate on being one thing at a time, plus I like the idea of a girl being able to pummel the crap outta stuff bare handed. Never tried it before, might as well. Just sounds fun to me.
Final Answer: Brawler

*whistles innocently.

Tikkle |

Brawler is really fun... I suggest lookin up the Style feats and memorizing the ones that you qualify for once we grow up, Martial maneuvers is really useful for switching styles. (although Tikkle tends to take Iron Will sometimes to make up for his silliness)

Gashka |

@Flynt - Whatev's, you know u bad. LOL
@Tikkle - I have a feeling I'm gonna need a notebook to keep track of stuff for this game. LOL
@GM - Thanks, that's pretty cool. I think I can do that. I better write it down though before I forget. LOL
I laugh...ALOT!!!

Gashka |

I don't want to have to choose between people though....I don't know. There has to be a solution somewhere, we'll figure it out as we go I guess. It's like you said though, with so many people and everyone being awake at different times....it definitely makes it a challenge.

Lo'Laan Jin |

You won't really have to choose anything it would be more filling our party roles. We'll have 2 skill-monkeys and 2 Swashbucklers it sounds like, so I'd recommend a split anyway just so people didn't have to compete in combat, like now, or for treasure.
Wouldn't necessarily have to be in different games just work in groups of two when we're adventuring.

Vallterra |

just slow down some, don't think you have to respond to every single post immediately. wait a bit longer to see if others that haven't posted in awhile get a chance to contribute.
I have a lot of games I am juggling and most of them are slow to mid paced. I take the time to read them and get caught up, I miss like 10-15 posts here.
best bet is if you want to keep posting and keeping active move to discussion, discuss strategy, make some game plans etc.

Tikkle |

Hey GM what I'd really love to have from my adult class would be the Charmed life ability. you can choke it back to once or maybe twice per day and it'll help negate my crappy negative wisdom in a crucial moment
pweeeeaassssee??? *big toothy tikkle grin*

Tikkle |

Yaaay! \(^w^)/

Tikkle |

I respect that, I admittedly was very over eager (I'm channeling tikkle a little lol) it'll die down, especially now that we're into the movement part where everyone is weighing in each round.
Also, This is my very first online campaign, and only my third campaign period. Started in like march, within a month I was asked to GM one, and by then I was hooked so I found this :P
Tikkle is not quite 13 yet, his backstory needed him to be a bit older as he's feasibly been a drifter for a year, an orphan for nearly a year before that, and still has a strong memory and love of his father.
In short, Tikkle is 12

Tikkle |

The first person to scream "I need an adult!" in character get's candy.
GM gets candy if an NPC replies "I AM AN ADULT!"

Asho Gohara |

Ok, so I just discovered folks were on the Discusssion thread.
Future Class - Not sure yet - Monk or Bard perhaps. Inquisitor? Depends on if you allow 3rd party or not as well GMSCV.
Ash's age - 14.
Gameplay - I think there is some dissonance between people's posting availability. In combat, I'm not sure things will matter so much if Initiative order is posted - essentially you have to wait your turn.
Out of combat, one thing I have seen work is that if three people agree to something/ a plan it goes ahead. But, having said that, that is more for PbP's that have the opposite problem from that which we have here - slow post rates where everyone is waiting for someone to post before a decision can be made.
Also, as we are playing young people, who are much more temperamental and have varied response to decisions made, I think we should all at least post before moving forward.

Pharnox |

Note once this ends and if Pharnox survives he will be going as a straight alchemist unless things shake up in the world of paizo (Technology handbook and Iron Gods I am looking at you). He will be a "bomb and gun" build, focused on firearms and bombs along with dex mutagen to turn him into the "houdini's long lost cousin"... His general attitude towards combat will be "victory at any cost", he (and the Drow) don't understand the terms parley, surrender, overkill or enemy noncombatant... In others words at least in combat there will be no trick too dirty that Pharnox won't be willing to use it. The Drow are generally of the following attitude when they see "honorable" combatants (like paladins and knights), "what an idiot..."

Tikkle |

I'm also rather curious about another thing... How many of our characters have feasibly taken a life before? And if so, to what degree, killed an animal, killed a dumb creature like a mite or a kobold, or actually taken a fully intelligent life?
This should be VERY important to how your character reacts to what is very likely to happen in a minute. Not saying that they wouldn't kill, but even Soldiers IRL usually need some therapy after their first confirmed kill.
Tikkle is showing a bit of homicidal mania right now, but I think he's never, in his own eyes, murdered, only killed things that were a threat to him in the wild (including things like Kobolds, but tikkle didn't really know any better {WIS 4}...)

Pharnox |

Pharnox actually has when I think about it, surviving the Journey from the Deeps to the surface involved some killing (mercy kills, even Drow medicine which is advanced has limits). Even before that he would have killed his own father (who was not one of the "lucky" ones, if the Tide doesn't drown you it mutates you and turns you into an insane monster). Another thing to note is the Drow mentality, survival at any cost. When your pinned between aberrations, duergar, derro and whatever else lurks in the Deeps the Siege mentality starts to take over and the Drow have been down there since prerecorded history...

Tikkle |

Something I like to do when I'm not 100% on how my character will react is I decide the likelihood of either outcome and make up a DC for a Will save, like you saw me do earlier to avoid panic. Tikkle will have to make a DC 10 will save to keep from freaking out if we kill Rizzo, if he fails its fifty fifty whether it is homicidal glee or guilt ridden terror... That's how I like to play a low wisdom character :3
