Initiative Order:

Billy – 21
Ballar – 18
Keryth – 14
Jim – 12
Monkeys – 12
Teirist – 9

Round 3…

Monkeys leap and howl, and Billy moves his bow up and down trying to find the right moment to launch an attack through the storm of monkeys at the four armed goliath at the back of the pack.

He fires, and both arrows miss

Keryth paces back and forth, a look of intense calculation on his face

Ballar swings the floating weapon at a group of monkeys toward the back, and one of them, already limping, is smacked into the dungeon wall, and falls to the floor dead

one less monkey jumping on the bed…

Teirist is a blur of swords, looking like he should be behind a low counter at a hibachi grill, and two more monkeys are sliced into cheetah sized portions

Jim leans into the monkeys in front of him, his flail spinning at top speed and two more monkeys are sent flying into the walls, smashed and broken

Even though monkeys are dying left and right, they continue to press forward

You can sneak attack a target that has been denied its dex bonus to AC. Being blinded does cause you to lose your dex bonus so yes you can add sneak damage. You can use acrobatics but it will be a tough thing to pull of vs a large creature with reach. I also just noticed the monkeys haven't been attempting there additional saves to end the blindness as per glitterdust. :P

Jim swings the iflail up and down, on the up stroke it misses, but coming down it flattens another monkey, and then as a finishing move Jim slides the weapon behind him across the floor.

And finally Keryth sends a dart up and over the attacking monkeys to land squarely on the big ape’s chest.

Day 6, turn 74 (approximate time of day, 12:00 pm) (turn 2 of 6)

Teirist’s attack comes just a split moment before Billy’s, so…

Stepping into the danger zone, Teirist flicks his swords together with a *clink* and then easily dispatches the giant monkey with two quick stabs. As the beast topples backward, Billy lands an arrow right in the dead creature’s eye.

The battle is over! I will post Experience Awards in the Discussion thread. Also, I am going back now to ready the last monster encounter. And I think one of the two chambers also had a treasure so I am looking back at that to make sure I still have the details.

Billy stares at the fallen behemoth, dying to the flashy elf a split moment before his arrow hits Girallon's-eye. The dashing archer's eyes twitch uncontrollably as he barely manages to force the compliment out of his lips. "Nice job, Butch."

As a warning to Fluffy, his partner forgot to pack her food, so she may want to see about getting something to eat before the cleaning crew comes along.

Checking on Jim's welts, Ballar smirks at the particularly large hand print on the monks left cheek, Looks like ya got a wee bit off'a smack down lad. Jim's got another couple hp to heal up, I presume he will be taking another swig later on?

Doing his best El Santo voice, Ballar practices saying Prestidigitacion! as he gets to work cleaning up some of the filth left behind by the monkeys. Bloody cigarettes! If ya gonna smoke have tha common curt'assy ta clean up.

Day 6, turn 74 (approximate time of day, 12:00 pm) (turn 2 of 6)

Ballar makes quick work of the debris and in no time the passageway is almost as clean as it was before the monkey debacle occurred, except of course oft the numerous monkey carcases now gathered into a neat pile.

Well what's next, people?

NPC: F Kobold

Fluffy approaches the monkey chow and sniffs long and hard, licking her lips and smiling she holds up a sign that reads

does anyone have any cholulah?

Dusting off his cloak, Ballar strolls over to Fluffy and reaches into a pocket. Pulling out his bottle of dark crimson powder, he pops off the cork with his thumb, then carefully taps three tiny grains of dust onto the monkey chow.
Fluffy needs to make a save: Fort save DC 15 just for smelling the spicy chow. Failure results in excessive tearing up of the eyes and a burning sensation of her nose until she moves 5ft back. Consuming the monkey chow is a DC 29 Fort save or suffer excessive tearing of the eyes, a running nose and an intense need to chase one's tail for 1d4 rounds. For every cup of milk consumed, recovery is reduces by 1 round. Feline's can build up +5 tolerance bonus by regularly using cholulah as a condiment. Maybe Ballar should market this stuff when they go topside...
Hehe, thar ya go kitty.
Corking and pocketing the bottle, Ballar picks up the hooded lantern and shines it into the chamber ahead.

Tierist waits for all the hub-bub to continue and he disappears into the shadows.

Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12

But he is caught in the plume of cholulah dust and starts sneezing.

Between sneezes he says, "Ballar, my friend, we asked you nicely to not ever bring that gods forsaken stuff out. MY EYES..they burn..." The last part is more of a shriek than normal spoken words.

"Er, I just got here. Where are we going, exactly?" The archer takes a moment to refill the quiver with the regular arrows from his Standard Issue Backpack of the Packrat, before taking a sniff of the powder. "What's cholulah?" The ranger questions as he reads the sign.

Sniffing: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

The sensation that assaults him answers the question for him as the dashing archer most unsuavely tears and sneezes as he backs away from the toxic cloud. "Ack! Should've thrown some of that stuff at the monkeys BEFORE we turned them into mincemeat! What is that stuff!?"

That’s delicious!

And then the group creeps to the south, as Jim begins to have a sneaky feeling that someone or something is waiting in ambush in the chamber ahead, Billy sees a stack of small sacks in the center of the chamber, unguarded, unprotected, and alone.

Billy looks at the pretty stack of small sacks sitting so stylishly in the middle of the empty, unguarded, unprotected room. "Smells like...all I can smell is that cholulah." He looks at the two elves, clearly expecting some cool vanishing trick after Jim's prompting.
