Livain watches as the hobgoblins ride towards them a grim smile spreads across her lips as she rasps out a single word in draconic. "Loreat" Her fingers reach for an arrow and swiftly nocks the arrow to string and as she pulls back she casts her spell a thin rime of frost appearing on the arrowhead.

She releases the arcane infused arrow and watches with satisfaction as it sinks into the neck of one of the lead wolves.

Apologies, didn't sleep last night due to upset kid so I missed some details... Here comes the fix!

Starting off some 160 ft away they move with surprising quickness. The one in the lead is the target of Livain's assault. The wolf's stride is unbroken by her attack however as it continues it headlong charge toward the centaur.

No range penalty this time as it was my fault.

Round 1
Sermonic performance 11/12
Move action: forward 10ft.
Standard action: Inspire courage
Moving forward by 10ft so that Rhavenna may benefit from both my buffing abilites.
Inspire courage has no real limitations on distance far as I can find, but Flagbearers bonus(which stacks amusingly enough) only works in 30ft of Wallace.
As I can't see the map if there is a better spot for me to stand for the effect to hit everybody feel free to move me. I'm fairly sure I'm hitting Rhavenna and Livain. Unsure if Mai will get the full effect on his turn.

So everyone gets a +1hit/dam. If you are within 30ft of wallace that bonus increases to +2. Go go stacking buff modifiers. Oh and a +1 on saves vs. fear. same regadless the fear effect bit doesn't stack.

Wallace hefts his standard, image of the Blades heraldry inspiring all around it. Moving a few steps forward the man smiles grimly at the mounted warrior.
"And lo! Did the vanguard of vengeance appear, cloaked in anger and armored with righteousness. Seekers with the keys of conquest gripped tightly in their hands!" the human barks with a rolling snap of his hand.

Does Wallace have his Buffalo or is he on foot right now?

Male Male Human Evangelist cleric 4 HP 40/44 AC:17/13/14 F+7/R+4/W+9 Init+3 Perception+13

I don't believe so, I had assumed that the party was attempting stealth but we never really moved from the starting position after talking so technically Wallace could have his buffalo. But far as I am aware the answer is that he is on foot.

Female Centaur Ranger (Skirmisher/Divine tracker) 4

If not that's fine just determining if I have to get you on my back before charging after I fire this shot

Firing a hurried shot that comes nowhere near the target Rhavenna quickly assesses the unfolding battle. Stowing her bow across her back she reaches a hand out to Wallace.

Hob 2 and Hob 3 come riding in on their wolf mounts when something appears to be terribly wrong. The wolves skin starts to peel away, replaced by scarred translucent skin that allowed their muscle tissue to be seen with ease and giving them a horrific appearance as their eye boiled away until only empty scarred over sockets remained. Among the clear skin were short writhing tentacles that arced up over the wolves heads as a steam started to pour forth from their mouthes. The Hobgoblins, unphased by this sudden change, drew their long bows and opened fire at Wallace and Rhavenna as she faltered...

Think that makes the arrow meant for her miss. Wallace stands there like a chump and gets shot.
Also what kind of armor are the hobgoblins wearing? Mostly want to know if its steel or leather.

The first three are wearing leather, the fourth in the far rear is wearing a blackened metal armor of some sort. But it has no glint like steel or anything,..

I doubt he would learn anything that would change his actions but does wallace learn anything from his Loe touch stuff?

Wallace fully aware of Rhavennas strength ignores the hobgoblin threatening them, focusing his attentions on the leader. "either Rhavenna will deal with it, of she will move and Maiathreen will end the polearm user. Livian is going to force the distant ones to act regardless of them wanting to.

He waits for the black lancer to come forward a second option already in mind as summoning would take too long. Now to see how great his willpower is. The words of Command on his tongue Wallace waits.
Held action, spontaneously cast Command(DC16) will save or Drop his weapon. On the lancer coming into range (short so 30ft). If fortune shines on us Wallace gets to ruin the lancers charge. But as this is a predictive post based on what my PC assumes a bad guy will do I'm also ready to lose the action entirely. The other idea was a summoned lightning elemental to counter charging bullrush the lancer off his mount. Even a small one has nasty modifiers for bull rushing targets wearing metal.

Turning, Rhavennea thrusts her lance at the horsechopper wielding Hobgoblin allowing Wallace to focus on the leader.

If you felt like spending your full round action (as you seem to have done no other actions.) You could 5ft step closer to the Hobgoblin and get your Hoof natural attacks as secondaries as well.
Also You are benefiting from a +2 hit/Damage courtesy of Wallace and his bardly inspiration. So that was actually a 20 to hit and 13 damage on the hobgoblin.

The simultaneous attacks were too much for the Hobgoblin and its Horsechopper. Between her vicious strikes and blows from her hooves, coupled by Mai's sword strike brought the hobgoblin to ground in a spray of arterial fluid. Soon a pool of blood formed beneath them as they rapidly bled out...

However your fighting had brought you closer to the last remaining mounted goblin. Who's black skinned wolf aberration looked raring for a fight...

The Hobgoblin angels his lance at Rhavenna and his wolf lunges forward, leaping across the terrain far more swiftly then the others, its riders armor seemed like it was part of its skin as it braced the lance expertly. The black metal didn't give off any shine at all, like coalesced shadows it stood out ominously as the Hobgoblin warrior barreled towards the Centaur warrior. Just before it cleared the last few yards it gave a howl in challenge.

Which was answered by the resounding howls of its brethren from the nearby ruin...

Rhavenna you got an AoO as lances have reach and he closes with you completely...

It lance tore across Rhavenna's side, spilling her blood to the ground before the Hobgoblin abandoned it. Dropping the heavy weapon as it smirked at Wallace before drawing a cruel looking wavy blade as it spoke harshly. "Never saw a 'taur slave before. No matt'r Dresskel likes horse meat." It raises the blade and wields its shield expertly. "Pity, ya woulda sold well."

After watching the hobgoblins charge finds herself very happy to be up in the trees at the moment. She sends two arrows towards the brute and lets out a curse as the first meets with his armored shoulder and snaps away but the second finds a fleshy place to stay.

Wallace:

Your flash of insight reveals to you something quite disturbing about these creatures sad state...

1d20 ⇒ 5

... although in the brief instance it takes for your mind to absorb the information of the ancient and abandon library. You feel something latch on to you as you return to the present...

These creatures are a form of Direwolf that has been mutated and turned into an aberration...

You know all the weaknesses and strengths of dire wolves and know that these are affected by the mutant template. Making them far harder to control depending on their mutations...

The one you touched is Mindless and blinded, following the direction of its rider as it has no thoughts of its own...

It also benefits from a slam attack from its tentacles and enhanced scent as a result of the additional disadvantage.

The hobgoblin soldier grunts as Livain's arrow finds its mark, however he glances her way and smiles darkly at her before continuing his clash with Rhavenna...

The remaining Hobgoblin draws its bow once more and, at farther range, continues to attack the party from afar.

Ranged attack Livain: 1d20 + 7 - 2 - 1 ⇒ (12) + 7 - 2 - 1 = 16
1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Its arrow arcs into the trees but encounters too many branches and harmlessly breaks apart before it reaches its intended target. Livain is well aware that that target was none other then herself...

Despite the groups success a horn sounds, this one was more earsplitting than Xiang Yu's and literally caused every animal that had been hiding to flee in utter terror. Birds took off from their well hidden nests and holes. Squirrels and other smaller creatures broke into a run to escape the sound of the horn. As the sound dies a roar fills the air, coming directly from the ruined fortress, followed swiftly by the deep thrum of drums being hammered by skilled hands. The drum beats are followed by the guttural cries of hobgoblins that were slowly picking up some sort of war chant...

"Dresskel! Dresskel! Dresskel!, Dresskel!!"

They pounded their shields, hammered the stone of the ruined fortress until you could feel the vibration of their chant all the way to where the fight was occurring...

I'd argue that 12 points of damage is quite lethal. just not to immediately so for this guy.

Wallace on seeing the severe damage done to his ally grits his teeth and waits. Giving an eye to the duo in front of him and speaks in an unnatural sounding language"Obviously creature you don't grasp the concept of bowing when your betters come calling. I will ensure your death is painful."In Aklo

Looking to the ruined fortress Wallace sighs [b]"Obviously I was correct about their numbers. Let us slay this fool quickly and move on, I had assumed Dresskel was this creatures name but obviously I was mistaken. The real threats yet lie ahead. Rhavenna step to make some distance after inflicting harm on this fool please, it would mean I can heal you without distractions"

That is to say make a 5ft step away from the bad guys between your Hoof natural attacks and your strike with your lance. Wallace will have a spare move action so if you tell him to he can pass you your swords at the end of this round.
Assuming Rhavenna moves
"Great one show me a path where this wound was not so dire! Again in Aklo
As the damage Rhavenna suffered seems to buzz slightly before morphing into several different forms of hideous damage in a near blur. Some immediately lethal heart peirced or intestines exposed and others as harmful before settling on a much less severe set of damage and being overwritten. The sound of a distant scream ends the spell.
CMW: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 6) + 3 = 16

Alright, good rolls!

A multitude of explosions decimate a large area of trees, the cries of horses reach your ears. The cries are filled with pain and panic as another series of explosions tears through the dense forest. Showering dirt and debris across where you are clashing with the goblins.

Livain, being higher than the rest of you, sees bright flashes of blue and searing white flame that hurt her eyes.

Fort save DC 11 please or be dazzed for 1 round.

However the blasts gave her line of sight with Xiang Yu and his party and what she saw stilled her heart momentarily.

Livain:

Xiang Yu was badly injured, his horse appeared to be stumbling along on three legs while one of its rear legs appeared lame. He wielded a large bladed sword and appeared to all the world as if he were right as rain. Despite the blood that stained his special tian styled armor. To Livain's surprise, he dismounted and stood on the field, his banner displayed proudly by the upright pole that was fitted to his armor as he raised his exotic curved blade in preparation for the enemies next attack.

Many of the Hobgoblins were dismounted at this point and equally injured. Some however were wielding strange vials with candle whick like stems that burned like dragonwork stlyed commodities.

The rest of Xiang's party was equally in bad shape. Their fight appeared to be fairly even despite being obviously outnumbered.

Mai's attack digs into the Hobgoblins shoulder and he growls in annoyance at the Winged bastard stabbing him. However he looked more angry when Wallace healed his opponent. "Kind to your 'tuar eh?" He growls.

Female Centaur Ranger (Skirmisher/Divine tracker) 4

Her entire body shaking in agony, Rhavenna can only grunt in assent, remaining on her feet requiring most of her concentration. Lashing out with her hooves she steps back, managing a weak thrust with her lance before the sensation of a thousand beetles crawling over every inch of her body fills her. Amidst the shudder of revulsion comes a sigh of relief as the pain dies down, the pierced lung heals it self, making it easier to breathe.

Dropping her lance she reaches back, hands open, trusting Wallace's awareness. "Swords!"

1. Maiathreen is flanking with you. 2. You get a +2hit/dam with wallaces bard song. The hooves miss, but the lance lands with a 21 and deals 16 damage..
not to worry if the dice gods won't help we will just drag victory kicking and screaming to us by sheer grit and dirty dirty system abuse!

With a sense of timing almost like he knew what she would want before she said it wallace grabs the hilts of Rhavennas blades and passes them to her waiting hands.
Looking to the hobgoblin astride his wolf wallace grins. "I wont put much effort into correcting the opinons of a corpse. If anything I am here because she treats me well and not the other way. But you wouldn't understand that, not with the mindless creature you ride. Hardly difficult to see why you're losing when we are a whole brain up on you." with a flaired motion wallace nods to the wolf the hobgoblin rides "Though if you are anything like the other hobgoblins ive met its more like we have a brain and a half on you at least."

Actually with Livain and my contributions that should drop the ugly gobber.
