I was going to use Daph-9 if completed in time. Since didn't look like we were going to, I replaced her with my solarian in the session 2 game so I'm good with finishing this on my android.

Not sure if everyone has seen it, but they finally made a decision on the whole battery debate. Figured it was relevant with the CHarge Cloak discussion.

I am going to be out for the next few days, but we might finish up tonight or tomorrow am. So I am working on chronicles now. I still need info for Turmoil.

During Downtime, you can attempt one trained Profession check to earn extra money: this is called a Day Job check. Permanent bonuses from class, equipment, feats, race, and theme apply to your Day Job check as they would any check for the relevant skill. Temporary bonuses do not apply to Day Job checks, no matter the source. You can take 10 on a Day Job check, but you can’t take 20 or use the aid another action.
You gain a number of credits equal to twice your Profession skill check result, as per the “Earn a Living” entry in the Profession skill Starfinder Core Rulebook 146). You cannot use other skills to make a Day Job check. Add this amount to the Day Job box on your Chronicle sheet.

So if you have one, go ahead and roll your day job too.

Also, I don't have a faction listed for William Thomas Riker. If you want to provide one, you gain a reputation. I am not sure about pre-gens, but I didn't see anything that says no - so Turmoil - go ahead and list one as well.

Also, it seems like there's still some discussion about the best way to do it in PbP, but as my first SFS character I will also be starting one of the player race boons. It's been talked about for a bit in Castamir and I don't know if it's been decided or not if a GM needs to sign off on it every time.

It may be a few days now before I can get to it, but I can wink on getting this started .

Thank you all for being such great players! I apologize for the lack of speed - I think I underestimated what it would take to run a new rules system for me (and overestimated my availability!), but I hope everyone had a good time.

Thanks for running GM Fuzzfoot. As always was quite enjoyable. Personally, I haven't have the courage to GM Starfinder yet, so I commend you for diving into the deep end.

Thanks for running..and if it makes you feel better, the games I'm running also took longer then I thought. I could run most PFS games in 4-6 weeks....all my SFS games are at 7+ weeks now I think.

I might want a signature on the new collect scenario's in order to get to play a new race boon, but I read there might be another option for on-line play coming soon. Which might not require the running gm to download, sign and upload another boon for every player at his table..so not sure on that.

Everything looks good on my end. I second what Revvy said about that race boon though. I hope they come out with a way that does not require every GM to sign off on it. Seems like a lot more work to throw on them.

As for the speed, don't worry about it. We are all learning the new system and there will be growing pains. The podrace part is also not too friendly for a PbP system, similar to how space combat is. It will take a few tries to figure out the best way to run those parts.

Yes, I too am waiting to see how the race boon goes, but I am happy to sign and return one if you have it... or I can create you a new one if you don't.

I will make this thread inactive in a few days, but I'll be around much longer, so just PM me and we can coordinate.

Edit: I did see a discussion going on in Castamire about it, but assumed it was a boon gained by the d20 roll for GD VI

@Daphne: Check the Alien Archive Blog ('Cantina). There is now a boon that, if you play 6 or 12 'scenarios' worth of unique stuff for Starfinder Society, grants you access to a race boon.

Thanks for the game, GM + everyone else! It was a nice starter for Starfinder. So it's 2 fame and 1 reputation that we gain? Is that the standard for scenarios? (I'm still a bit clueless about the reputation system...)

Also, if you could fill up a new Alien Archive boon sheet for me, that would be great.

I believe so - I am also a bit confused by the new system. Why use the term Fame for different purposes than PFS?

I looked and could not find a blank Alien Archive - does that only come with purchasing the supplement? If you have one to send me, though, go ahead and I am happy to fill it out.

Does anyone still need a Welcome to Starfinder boon? That I do have and can send to anyone who still doesn't have one.

Check out the chronicles link again, and you should find all 3 of the boons we have mentioned: scenario, alien archive, and welcome to starfinder.

This last one is only good for your 701 character, so for the few who played with 702s, I simply left name and faction blank for you.

I will make this thread inactive on Monday, but the chronicles will remain for the foreseeable future.
