::Yeah, whoa! Warn a fellow when you Surge there, Wilder.:: Muneshige sent through the link, not unkindly. The man checked himself over, as if looking for wounds or burn marks.
(Anybody heard from Sandria Sylta?)
(Marching order appears to be Khazak scouting 60 feet ahead, then main body with Muneshige, Sandria, Skender, Nathan, and Je'grik. Correct me if I'm wrong. I've got no problem with the blaster at "point", and putting Skender and Nathan in the middle with Je'grik to keep an eye on our trail.)
::Be glad you just get the echoes. Hells, be glad I learned a bit of control over the surge. I've heard of Wilders that can injure themselves surging!::
Fort:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 If this is for cold exposure(add +2), I did get the Adapt Body power manifested, it just cost me more power points than usual. If not, disregard this part of the post.

Fortitude save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
::Bear?:: Muneshige repeated through the link, keeping quiet in the cold mountain air. ::An unnecessary distraction. Don't provoke them. We should save our strength for the dragons.:: The man looked around at the surroundings, then at the snow around the party, looking for tracks other than their own.
::Bears can harm travelers.:: opinionated a certain psicrystal in Muneshige's voice.
::I'm ready for anything, bear or dragon!:: the brunette stated loudly through the link. She was coated in a blue-silver material that continuously shifted between looking like transparent slime and a thin layer of ice on her skin, clothing, and hair. Sandria flexed her empty hands, looking past Muneshige, eager to lunge ahead of him through the deep snow. Her boredom was easily apparent to the team.
(Currently in Astral Skin. No powers manifested, depending upon her decisions to use furs & winter clothing instead. Still adjusting her sheet from where she left it.)
::Right.... why bother with the bears? Muneshige's got a really good point. Although you may be able to use your capabilities all day long, he, Nathan, Je'Grik, and I have a limited amount of power throughout the day. If we go off to battle with bears, that's a bit of power we won't have back until tomorrow. I'm not saying we can't, I'm just saying that I'd like to be conservative about things.::
Khazak responds in the link to the collective, "I'm not an expert on dragons, but I don't think that dragons and dire polar bears would make good neighbors in the same cave. I've got no problem at all with avoiding this particular cave, I don't think the bears have noticed us in any case. Just be aware that we will likely be in the bears' hunting range as we wander around in this general area."
::I'm all for handling the dragon first. Unless they can fly, it's easier to get away from bears.:: Je'grik pipes up. ::Besides, why would we want to hurt the cubs?::
