btw I got the new ship book and module- Plunder and Peril. Dunno if there's much use for the ship book, but P&P might offer some interesting potential & possibilities. Of course, I have about a half dozen possible adventures and plots on the pile :) so here's to another 8K!

honestly, I don't know if we'll ever reach Agartha's 70K or even Heathy or Aubrey's 17-19K. but I'll take quality over quantity. (esp compared to Agartha... good lord, I can't stomach reading more than a couple posts) :)

sigh, tofurkey qualifies as a crime against nature I'm afraid. I'd go with cheese and chile tamales. I made some delish cranberry chutney and coconut rum sweet potatoes. ah, the older I get, the more i love Thanksgiving- good food and good friends and/or family.

And to you--been busy the past couple of days and haven't been able to post much. Brought my mum down to the house yesterday, then spent today cooking and eating. I did the pies (one pecan, two pumpkin) and got a big batch of rolls going; my wife took care of the turkey, both kinds of dressing, and finishing the rolls. We are all stuffed.
We might be in for some confusion and or excitement this christmas... there is talk of a turducken...
Turducken just makes me fondly think of Thanksgiving Football with Madden...

Dang it! I was treating it like my burning hands spell. I play Pathfinder so seldom not I'm forgetting things. Sorry about that. Just take the first three die, and add three, and I'll do my best to remember.
PS: At least I'm not using my wand of magic missiles anymore. :-)

He did as best as he can manage without either:
a) leveling (and getting new spell slots)
b) making it to a civilization where he might purchase something
He's got his armor up and was fighting defensively. Given that I've tended to flavorful spell choices (like air bubble et al) there ain't much more a spontaneous caster can do in the meantime.
Well, bracers +2? I'm seeing that the wind barrier is an armor bonus ( I would have thought deflection) so no stacky, but you'd at least have a passive default AC 2 higher. and there's the elf fetishes that are +2 nat armor when activated so that'd stack.
well, I appreciate the contrariness of the cuss and you'll have booty to play with in town and level soon enough.

I did get my new Freeport PDF. First impressions- it's bootiful. Outstanding job on the artwork. I like the listing of ships in harbor as well. As for crunch- hit and miss. What page is your contribution on Dibbs?

Oh, quit yer belly aching. I just drove half a continent back and forth and entertained a swarm of clamoring li'l children continually for four days in between. I think I'd prefer to walk the plank next time... but I'm home and hale enough for the new year!
Heh - significant part of the issues was more related to the relative paucity of internet access :P
Long drives I am familiar with - even I got through about 1,200 km driven in Perth over the 16 days I was there... though the really fun times were driving from Kalgoorlie to Adelaide over two days (not as a driver... but in the back seat with both my older brothers) which is a lazy 2,160 km.
