i'll allow that you can just cast magic missile into it on your off days. I don't know if you were planning on taking craft wand anyway, but this would spare you having to take the feat. That would take 3-4 days anyway to recharge the wand.

It'll be 30 gp for all getting nicely tailored clothes though they won't be ready the next day. You'll have to wait until you're return. Just as well as Roberts has less showy stuff available to match your low profile mission.

sooo.. i'm not really clear on what the plan is. Dingus seems to be recommending starting at House Cartegn. If they're friendly, they can likely change money. Note that Freeport uses Chelish gold Sails so you are fine there. Only silver and copper coins are different.

Changing up a bit of cash would be good - then maybe a bit of a Knowledge (Local) fest to try and sink our toes into the local muck a bit.

Dibbs is a bit leery of charging straight for the grand prize on day 1 - instead wanting to get a bit of a lay of the land before we more on Dallian.

I think it's partially the season for slow games? - most of my other PbPs have gone all crawl speed for a while too.

Slow pace for me is just work and home commitments ramping up... but all is good lads - as the group face Kaul will unroll his gunboat diplomacy at the drop of a sprat.

Yessir. There's a bit of the new, but a lot of the old. I'm not overly impressed at this point, but I guess it will be nice to have it all in one fat old book.

Aye - to be expected though unfortunately. I've just skimmed the crunch so far... interested to see where the island trolls fit into the main body of the fluff.

Yeaaah, not really feeling island trolls- do they wear grass skirts? Honestly, gobbos and hobbies in the Bloodsalt was already pushing it for me. I like Freeport a little lower magic and too much co-habitating with monsters kinda ruins it for me.

Sorry for the silence of late--got back from vacation Saturday, spent Sunday depressurizing, back to work yesterday (and dealing with a week's worth of accumulated emails), and was going to get into the game thread last night before a friend dropped by for dinner on short notice. Didn't even get on the computer at all. I should have some time later today or this evening.

Welcome back shipmate - see if you can salvage the situation Rum and Rummer are creating (this is what happens when Kaul and Dibbs step up as the group's "faces" hur.)

Times such as this I think that a level or two in Swashbuckler might not be a bad thing for Jim.
