A campaign of fallen angels, friendly devils, deceit, betrayal, secrets, and the everburning quest to discover the plane-fueling spark of the mortal soul.
I'm sorry I missed out on getting in on this game. Sounds like a blast and a half. I have to say that a Summoner seems like -just- the kitten to tangle with the massive blood-soaked ball of yarn that is the Blood War...

Ouch! Good level, bad stats. 10 point buy. >.< There's the reason I hate rolling stats and HP!
I know that incubi are male succubi, but they are listed as separate creatures with different abilities than a succubus. They represent the masculine forceful side of lust. What I was saying was that if somebody wishes to play an incubus but using the standard succubus stats I would allow that.
I have allowed the other low point buys to reroll, so if you wish to reroll stats you may.

Oh, well in that case...
Stat Re-roll:
I made a valiant effort to make the equivalent of a 10-point buy work, but I'm not going to say no to re-rolling!
Bloody_KissesGM, I emailed you a copy of Isandra's sheet if you could make sure I did it all correctly I'd appreciate that. I'm still working on her background story.
I still have some details to fill out, but I also have some things to do right now and wanted to get this posted. The pitch is buried in the Future Fable -- re-discovered thousands of years from now, some librarian will file it as a myth -- so I'll post it up here.
Future Fable:
Joramy brooded as she wandered a familiar path. Erythnul had interfered with her plans one too many times, Beltar's priests had taken one too many of her followers to the sacrificial block... and now Graz'zt was rumored to be buildilng a city in the cauldron of a volcano. A volcano! Volcanos were *her* thing. The Blood War was of no concern to her directly; but her anger at certain rulers of the Abyss, Carceri, and Pandemonium could only be slaked by action. But what?
She was powerful, but so were they; and she was one, while they were many. Every time she imagined going up against them all herself, she saw them uniting against her -- at least until it came to divvying up her stuff. So, Joramy went to her friend Kurell at his home in Limbo, the House of Locks. As the lord of Revenge, surely he would know how to get back at them. "My friend Kurell, I am sorely vexed by these fiends as we have discussed many times. But I am done talking. What can I do about it without them ganging up on me?"
Kurell was in a bind. Erythnul was also his friend, and a better one than Joramy. Besides, he had another home in Pandesmos that she didn't care for and never visited; the last thing he needed was the Raging Volcano flooding the plane with lava. However, he could hardly refuse to help the scary Shrew with one of his primary concerns. He posed as if gravely pondering a serious matter, while actually trying to figure out how to keep her from being too effective, and... how to keep his assistance from being at all traceable back to him... "Hmm."
Joramy actually had a similar problem, and so Kurell saw a solution to both. "My friend Joramy, if you wanted revenge against even so much as another lesser power, then I could help you. But for the kind of help you seek, you will have to ask your good friend Pelor. Ask him not for help with revenge but to strengthen a healer of yours with the power of his divine light, and he will not refuse. Then send your agent to help others interfering in the Blood War, so that they will be blamed and not you."
Joramy thanked her trusted friend Kurell. "You are more help than you know. I am used to expressing my own anger directly. Your counsel is wise." So, she left and sought out Pelor at his home in the Fortress of the Sun in Elysium. "Pelor my friend, I am done watching helplessly as these fiends' plots hurt my followers and my plans, but I am not ready to move against them directly. I have a priest that I could send to help others interfering in the Blood War." With a wave of her hand at the hearth fire, she brought up an image of a well-dressed ifrit, taking care to show a moment when he was performing a ritual of worship. (Mortals could be so embarrassing.)
"As you can see, he is devoted, but not yet strong enough to do what I would ask of him. So, I am asking for a favor. Please strengthen him with your divine light, to make him a better agent against the powers of the Lower Planes." Pelor brightened (literally) at her request, pleased at her initiative. "Of course, my dear Joramy." Touching a finger to the forehead of the ifrit's image, the Shining One infused her priest with the power of goodness and light. "There. He is now much strengthened. I hope that he manages to do what you say."
ETA: The only thing I'm not sure about is that I added the range of the half-celestial darkvision to the base ifrit's. It doesn't say to do that explicitly, but it seems reasonable.

LN/NE Female Aasimar Cleric 1/Summoner 6
(Very much torn between a LN follower of Mammon or a NE follower of Graz'zt and would prefer a bit of DM suggestion)
Str: 9
Dex: 12
Con: 13
Int: 12
Wis: 18
Cha: 21*
Feats: Spell Focus: Conjuration(1), Augment Summoning (3), (At this point I am now considering Vile Brand, Lich Loved, and Poison Immunity (Abyss) to survive the toxic environment of the plane. And of course, Disciple of Darkness or Demon Thrall.)
Equipment Priority 1: FIRE RESISTANCE
Thoughts, opinions?
I'm going with "Invael, the Shackled Angel" as the Eidolon. Cause what a coup for the powers of darkness... A fallen Aasimar with a shackled angel...?
I had a blast creating this character, but now that he's getting closer to done, I'm having trouble picturing him working with the other proposed characters. Even with the hook in my Future Fable. I'm not withdrawing exactly, just... stepping to the back of the line, so to speak.
Is there still a chance to get picked? I have a Summoner concept that would be really fun to play in a game like this, since he starts out as mostly neutral with some good tendencies. As he slides along the Alignment axis through his actions or others, his Eidolon changes to represent it.
Withdrawing Isandra. I simply don't have the foreknowledge that I would need for this campaign and can't really form a background for her because of it. Good luck to everyone else.
I have the list of potentials ready, and will be finalizing and posting the players later today or tomorrow.
If you like, follow along with the game, as there may be spots opening up with deaths or whatnot, and in that case I will be returning to this recruitment thread. I will consider previously proposed characters before accepting new ones, so don't give up hope!
Looking forward to the annoucement with bated breath - either to get in or to sit on the daemonic sidelines and wait for the meat grinder to swing my way :)
Alright! I finished up Languages, Defense, Offense, Skills, and most of Gear. Just some more Gear, Description and Background left to go (some of it covered by the Future Fable). ETA: and Spells oops, written just have to transfer it.
Like I said, not exactly withdrawing, just... cautious. It's hard to picture how Ghazwan would work with all the horrible monsters in this thread; but if sent by his mistress, then he would do his best. ;)
All right, folks, after much deliberation, slicing and dicing, I have narrowed down my list of starting players. It's a bigger list than I anticipated, but there are many great ideas that I couldn't pass up!
The players/characters who have made the initial cut are:
loimprevisto- Aranea Sorcerer
Mark Sweetman- Venedaemon Sorcerer/Eldritch Knight
It seems that the player who was representing the Abyssal side of things has yet to post, so I would like to recruit another player with a demonic patron or interests of the Abyss. If interested, please submit (or resubmit) your character concept and I will see when/where you can fit in!

BKGM:
Hi, a bug is currently keeping me from accessing my Sent Messages on the new PM feature, and I don't remember everything I said. However, I remember a question.
According to the Bestiary, "Drow nobles are defined by their class levels—they do not possess racial Hit Dice. A drow noble’s challenge rating is equal to her class level." The example is CR 3 because she's a level 3 cleric.
I would certainly understand giving drow nobles racial hit dice, since they look pretty powerful to me. (I'm normally not a power gamer, but I'm looking for ways to make up for my mediocre rolls compared to the present group.) But in that case, I'd like to know all the stats such as CR, HD and class skills for a drow noble without class levels.
Or maybe there are other options I haven't thought of. Anyway, I can't design a drow noble character until I know which way you want to go with it. :)
The way that we built our characters, you take the Beastiary listed stats, and then convert back to 10/11. So for the Drow Noble it would be Str +2, Dex +6, Con +2, Int +0, Wis +6, Cha +2 --> you would also get all the other special powers, spells, etc. for the Drow Noble. And the Drow Noble is CR 3 in the bestiary because of all the skills/advantages. Thus, you would start with 3d8 hp, and a CR3 character and then be able to add 1d4 more levels of whatever you want to play.
Elita - the Drow Noble is actually a bit different as it is explicitly stated what the stat modifiers are. In this case +4 Dexterity, +2 Intelligence, +2 Wisdom, +2 Charisma, –2 Constitution
Fredrik's question is whether he needs to take any level adjustment into play before he builds class levels.
The Drow Noble example in the Bestiary is a Level 3 Cleric (which is where the 3d8 come from) so Drow Nobles don't have racial hit die.
Ah, my bad. Drow Noble is RP22 in the Advanced Player's Guide which says they should be considered as +1 level for levels 1-6. Other than that, DMBK will have to decide. Sorry if I confused anyone. After all, I am just a psychotic fallen angel with an anger problem.

I deciphered your post to be a reference to the Advanced Race Guide, downloaded the playtest, and sure enough their stat bonuses are the Advanced array. I stopped there, convinced that you were right. Looks like a drow noble character under level 6 is basically +1 CR, according to the "Challenging Advanced and Monstrous Races" box on p.3.
So, under this game's creation rules, a CR 5 half-fiend drow noble would only have three class levels -- and therefore only three hit dice. Not the best plan... not that it matters, since it looks like BKGM found someone already. Ah well, at least I learned some new things and came up with some more interesting character concepts. 8)
