Darn, I missed it!
I guess I'll have to wait till it's on the YouTube channel or something. Wanna see two of my current hyperfixations directly interacting!
No need to wait! The VoD is on Twitch.

Thanks for sharing this! Twitch only keeps videos for a week now, so all those who just missed it can watch it there, but if you're seeing this message well after, it'll be up on YouTube by Friday!

For someone like me who was primarily there for gleaning more things about SF2e as opposed to the social engagement (nothing against you guys but this is not really what I come to a game company for and not a format I engage with generally) the stream was a little bit chaotic and hard to parse at times. If this is to be a more common occurrence, could an effort be made to put the most recent question on the screen somewhere?

It's certainly not something we'd do to replace the streams we currently have entirely, but more as a fun occasional treat, so this is great feedback! I'll reach out to the tech team to see if it's possible to do in the moment of the stream! I think it should be!

If you are going to do v-tuber avatars for the iconics, how about an iconic Vidgamer for Starfinder? If not an iconic, some famous NPC Vidgamer. Since there was a combat game being played in the background, maybe have the person hosting the stream use a Zo! v-tuber avatar.
We were thinking of making one for Zo! actually!!!

Since you asked for feedback, the "speaking emphasis" was a bit low, especially for Chk-chk's mandibles. For group events like this, some channels have the non-speaking form a little desaturated or a little smaller in size, so that who's speaking sticks out a bit more.
You know, we were worried about this, so this is really good to know. I'll definitely pass these notes over to the team. Thank you, QuidEst!

I'm sad I missed this. I play Warframe almost every day (for me relaxation me time). Not sure what the content/format was, I'll have to find it on Youtube, but the idea of Piazo or Starfinder X Warframe intrigues me.
It kind of makes me wish for a Warframe update with a Starfinder Easter Egg of some sort, or vice versa some reference to Warframe stuff in new Starfinder lore.

Echoing others: I like the idea of a casual AMA stream with just whatever random stuff going on for visuals. The chibi-Iconics were lovely, and it was pretty cool to see their creator getting rep'd in Chat!
But, also like others: I don't know much about Warframe, and didn't get much out of that specifically. Especially since that aspect was mostly watching hyper-acrobatic space-ninja jumps. Made me a little motion sick :D Something a bit less ... frenetic, may be a better choice. I'd def watch again with, I dunno, Darktide or Helldivers 2 or something!

Thursty was JUMPING like his life depended on it too lol I know I for one also get motion sick when I play Warframe, and I was glad to be hosting and asking questions instead, so I totally get that. This is really good feedback, everyone!
I really wanted to love warframe when it first came out but something about the motion of the game trips the NOPE part of my brain and I just can't stomach it for long. Same because it seems like an awesome game.

It sounds like streams of other games would be fun too? If we work out the Vtuber kinks and figure out a way to display the text of the questions too so they're easier to follow!
It could be. It might actually be better. While I love to play warframe...it's actually kind of hard to watch other people play it.
Not only the motion sickness, which even I kind of get watching other people play (though I'm fine when I play) the game is so frenetic and fast paced it requires you to completely focus on it, or do less well than you would hope. Even when watching someone else play it, you kind of need to focus on it to follow what's happening or ignore it.
I think slower paced games might actually be better.
I think Shadow Run Hong Kong or some other SciFi game with similar themes to Starfinder might be better options, even if they don't have the draw that Warframe might.

I enjoyed the video on youtube after, although I wasn't really watching, just listening to the talk. Didn't even realise the cartoon characters below were anything special - just thought they were random iconics to make it more SF themed.
Although, as requested in the video, I would love to see a SF computer game.

I've never even heard of Warframe before the live stream, but still excited to see this crossover happening. I think it might be fun to have this to give characters with the Vidgammer background something to reference. The listing for it is already up.
Starfinder x Warframe: Operation Orias
It's also good cross-marketing with the release of SF2e almost here. I'd love to see SF2e really take off.

The link is not working; to find it, go to Starfinder / Standalone adventures / unavailable.

Looking forward to hearing how they are going to do this.
At first I assumed that it would be using Starfinder classes, but it sounds like they are doing some sort of pseudo class deal, bespoke for Warframe style abilities? I'm curious how it will work. Looks like it'll be for Excalibur, Mag, Volt, and Trinity, so the three starters plus Trinity. But it also mentions rules to expand them into other Warframes.
It does not sound like it'd be as in-depth as a full class, and with the page count of an Adventure book, also competing with space for a primer on the setting and a Bestiary, I'd imagine you probably couldn't get more than 1 or 2 pages a set. So I wonder how it'll work.

I'm excited! I like these crossover events Paizo does every so often.
I like how they partner with somewhat more obscure IPs, the kickstarter was how I found out about Vampire Hunter D, for example, and they happen infrequently enough to always feel special, even now when crossovers and mash-ups have become almost cliche in the mainstream.
