Fiery Body + Form of the Dragon III

Rules Questions

Hello.

Just looking to have others weigh in on a players' hope for the final BBEG final battle after a recent level up.

As the subject line says, the want to Fiery Body + Form of the Dragon III.

At first blush, seems legit. Wants to become silver dragon, then protect themselves from fire, as a red dragon is in the final battle.

It's not 2 polymorph spells, but they are transmutation spells.

Any issues or contradictory factors in play I haven't realized?

I can't see any reason it wouldn't work.

The only issue I see is the fact that while under a polymorph spell you lose all extraordinary and supernatural abilities that depend on your original form. Fiery Body is not a polymorph spell, but Form of the Dragon is. If a fire elemental cast form of the dragon and became a silver dragon it would lose immunity to fire.

The way I would handle it is that it will depend on the order the spells are cast. If you canst form of the dragon first it will work, and you will gain immunity to fire and cold. If you cast fiery form first, you lose the immunity to fire but have immunity to cold.

I would recommend checking with the GM to be sure.
