There are some celestial Boons/Deitific Boons that grant additional sneak attack dice.
For example:
Tanagaar - Celestial Obedience
3: Hunter's Edge (Su) You gain sneak attack +3d6. This increase to sneak attack damage stacks with sneak attack damage you may have from other sources. Whenever you deal sneak attack damage with a piercing weapon, you deal +2 points of damage per sneak attack die.
Go to Nethys - Tanagaar .
Assume you were a Rogue/Ninja/Whatever that had full progression of sneak attack dice. Would this raise you above the normal limit of half your character level, rounded up? My feeling is no, but I wanted to get a additional opinions.

There is no such limit. You're thinking about the Accomplished Sneak Attacker feat.
A level 1 Rogue with a CL 15 Sense Vitals spell cast on them would have +6d6 SA.

It's appearantly rather a guideline Paizo used internally. See rogue, ninja, alchemist (visectionist), vigilante (stalker), slayer + VMC rogue and probably more. Accomplished Sneak Attacker's text made it somewhat public.
At high levels monster HP scale quickly and there are increasingly powerful other ways (than HP damage) to neutralize them. So it's no biggie if the guideline is broken with a 2nd or 3rd boon.

Yeah, Accomplished Sneak Attacker is kind of a trap, because it limits your dice from other sources.
It's been years since I looked at it, but there was a character I mapped out once for great amounts of sneak dice:
Lvl 1: Brawler (Snakebite Striker). 1d6 sneak attack, 1 bab.
Lvl 2: Rogue (unchained) +1d6 sneak
Lvl 3: Alchemist (Eldritch Poisoner) +1d6 sneak
Lvl 4: Magus (greensting slayer) +1d6 sneak if spend arcane pool point.
Lvl 5: any (probably rogue)
Lvl 6: Inner Sea Pirate. +1d6 sneak
Lvl 7: Sleepless Detective. +1d6 sneak
Lvl 8: Master Spy. +1d6 sneak
After that you have to put more than one level into things to get sneak attack. But hey, level 8 with 6 or 7 dice of sneak and 1, maybe 2 BAB.
I ended up taking the brawler/ alchemist/ magus, and putting the rest in rogue. Added Soul Forger to the magus and knife master + scout to the rogue.

Channel Energy: If I have this ability from more than one class, do they stack?
No—unless an ability specifically says it stacks with similar abilities (such as an assassin's sneak attack), or adds in some way based on the character's total class levels (such as improved uncanny dodge), the abilities don't stack and you have to use them separately. Therefore, cleric channeling doesn't stack with paladin channeling, necromancer channeling, oracle of life channeling, and so on.

A very general FAQ that is relevant for thistledown post.
As I read it, every example of sneak attack that doesn't say it stacks generates a different stack, to which you add all the abilities that say that they stack.
In thistledown post we have the following abilities that say that they stack to other forms of sneak attack:
Brawler (Snakebite Striker)
Inner Sea Pirate
Sleepless Detective
Master Spy
The following that don't say they stack:
Rogue (unchained) (and core Rogue, too)
Alchemist (Eldritch Poisoner)
And Magus (greensting slayer) that has an ability that adds to sneak attack damage, but it isn't the sneak attack ability, so it isn't relevant for the number of dice of sneak attack.
So his build can choose between two different stacks of 5 dice of sneak damage and add to them an extra d6 sith greensting slayer, but it doesn't get to roll 6 dices of sneak attack (and probably he would not qualify for the prestige classes.
I ended up taking the brawler/ alchemist/ magus, and putting the rest in rogue. Added Soul Forger to the magus and knife master + scout to the rogue.
You end again with two different stacks, as Alchemist (Eldritch Poisoner) and Rogue (any) don't stack.
The FAQ I cited is important, and relevant for all abilities, so finding it because I searched for sneak in the FAQs isn't nice. It is something that should be posted prominently.
