Con - Ignores allies

With so much AOE I can't help but think that the kineticist NEEDS con to ignore allies otherwise their impulses will be VERY situational at best.

Just build it in at level 1 and they will have an interesting AOE niche where their Overflow impulses ignore allies.

Building it in at 1st level would be great. It is kind of sad that the Shape Aura feat doesn't extend to other Impulses as well at the very least.

Would be a good niche to have and make it feel like you're in control of your element. I'd support this.

That said if Kineticist was able to ignore up to Con mod allies when using damaging/hindering Impulses then the Shape Aura feat probably needs some beefing up as that would take care of one of the major aspects of the feat. Unless that feat was also baked into the class, but that seems unlikely since it is possible to build a Kineticist that doesn't use an Aura. If you wanted to for some reason.

This is a problem shared with conventional casters. I don't think the designer will do something like Selective Energy affecting all Impulses. Friendly fire AoE is an added risk by design.

For traditional casters anyways. Could be balanced around for this new type.

Perhaps add ignore con modifier targest on overload. Then rhe aura feet still has its own big bonus. Would offset the lower damage by enabling more targets. Would still need better single target but the aoe would be a nice niche
