Scarab Sages

Love making some generic NPCs that the GM can just grab and use. I realize the Game Mastery Guide did put out a lot of them, but I thought 'we could always use more! I did a lot of these fast and dirty, so there may be some problems with the statblocks, and if so, I appologize. This is just the beta build of the codex. There are more NPCs to come.

The codex is broken down into two sections. The first sections are generic, sedentary NPCs that you might be likely to find in a town/city, from commoners to thugs to a captain of the watch. The second section is a WIP using the jobs from Final Fantasy Tactics as a jumping-off point to build NPCs you might find in a military.

Let me know what you think!

And now the guide

Remember, alpha version.

Scarab Sages

Anyone? No?

Frankly, if you want some discussion on anything PF2, the PF2 Reddit is a much more lively and dynamic place than this dying forum.

Liberty's Edge

I’ll take a look later on. I’m always interested in bunches of new NPC stat blocks.

These are all great - thank you so much for posting these!

Reddit is fine but its not a good place for a discussion.

Scarab Sages

Finished up the Time Mage, Mystic, and Geomancer

Love to hear your thoughts, critisizms . . . any way you can think to make these builds better.

So how's the discussion on this going here?

So the answer is to be passive aggressive?

Well I thought it was pretty neat, even though I don't really know much about PF2. I prefer 3.5

These are quite neat and im always a big sucker for themed casters so maybe more of those? Also some double digit high level NPCs would fill in a big hole.

I have started to find this as well but it hadn’t clicked. Reddit is more active with quicker replies. Have to wade through the “sell me on this vs 5E” stuff. But this seems to have slowed / stopped

I can’t say I necessarily thought this place was dying but since you mentioned it, it does seem like it

On topic - I appreciate this and will take a look when I get chance. I made an excel sheet of every NPC I could find on easytools from all the source books along with a level and approximate class (where not obvious). Stopped at AV I think but also had to skip part of Edgewatch as I am a player

But there are still a fair amount of gaps so hopefully this will fill some :-)

I'm saving this for the day my group decide to switch over to 2e, they all seems very well made.
