His loss has hit me a LOT harder than I expected it ever would. Yesterday I received news I tested positive for COVID and last night I broke a tooth Then, waking up this morning to the news that he had died, have combined and just struck me too hard today.

The beat is yours forever
The beat is always true
And when you really really need it the most
That's when rock and roll dreams come through

Rest in peace, Mr. Aday, and thank you.

RIP. I know him mostly from that one song.

Radiant Oath

Meatloaf made some of my favorite music, but he was honestly kind of a trash person. I love "Life is a Lemon," it might be my favorite song of all time. I listened to "The monster's Loose" over and over again this weekend. It just blows my mind that someone would sing "In the land of the pigs, the butcher is king," and then back "Blue lives matter." He was in Rocky Horror picture show, but didn't respect trans people. Are we all doomed to become the villain if we don't die young? Meatloaf's spirit left his body long ago, now his corpse is done walking the Earth.

Apparently he was antivax pro-disease too. A shame, as I dug his music.
