Ok so what am I missing. How do you calculate Class DC and when does a class go from Trained to expert?

10+proficiency+key stat modifier.

They go to Expert when one of their features says they do. Like this example from Alchemist:

"Alchemical Expertise Level 9
Constant practice has increased the effectiveness of your concoctions. Your proficiency rank for your alchemist class DC increases to expert."

Also note that classes generally have either a Spell DC or a Class DC, not both. (Many people think that Druid getting a Class DC it never advances is a bug, but I don't recall if it's actually removed in errata.)

Here are the proficiency bonuses (next to the last page.)

Then, as HammerJack said, just add 10 and the relevant ability modifier.

It was an error and it was removed in the second printing.

It is strange that there are no classes with a legendary Class DC. I wondering what class they are saving that for?

Liberty's Edge

Likely will never have a Legendary Class DC is what I think. Not everything has to advance to that level.

They could be keeping in in their pocket for a class that's a sort-of spellcaster. Like a Kineticist could technically be made with a class DC and no spell DC.

Thank you to everyone I don’t know why I was finding that so hard to understand/figure out

Honestly, I had the same difficulty. I made up my proficiency tables to teach myself how this all worked.
