Armor Focus the feat is you get a +1 bonus. It's for one type of armor and normally doesn't stack. In my case I have a Breastplate so it grants me a +7 to AC. Now I have a kilt which makes it heavy and provides another plus to my total AC.
My question is I take armor focus for kilt would I get another plus to my total ac. o it would go 6 for breastplate 1 for kilt. +2 for armor focus twice once for the breastplate one for the kilt?

Editor’s Note

Sean K. Reynolds says, “Adding an armored kilt to an existing set of armor has the effect of creating a new type of armor, just as studded leather is leather with studs, chainmail is a chain shirt plus leg and arm coverings, and half-plate is chainmail plus plates. Once you add it to armor, don’t think of it as a separate piece that you can add unique properties to, just consider the new armor as a whole. Just as you wouldn’t say ‘I want to add magic to the studs of my studded leather armor’ or ‘I want the plate parts of my half-plate to be adamantine’ or even ‘I want to add enhancement bonuses just to the padding of my full plate,’ don’t try to single out the armored kilt as a separate piece.”

You would take Armour Focus "Breastplate and Kilt" and it would go up by 1.

even if it did work, instead of taking a 2nd armor focus for +1 ac. id say get dodge (if you haven't already). ur ff ac should be high anyway, and this would help your normal and touch ac. also work if your without ur armor.

^ Or (greater) shield focus

I'm a two handed fighter wielding a heavy flail. Dodge is an option and have armor focus breastplate as bonus fighter feat. Just looking for every bit of protection I can get. Our GM tends to get high die rolls.

Why not fullnpalte + armor training + Advances armor training (option for more ac + Advances weapin training option that adds 1 shield ac + half weapon enhancement bonus.

Don't do two weapon fighter archetype if going pure fighter. A straight normal fighter two handing with advanced weapon and armor training is a force. I dont even use a two handed weapon, I 2 - hand a scimitar and get the item "Baldric bane" since weapon die size doesnt matter to a pure fighter who can get the advanced weapon training feature for scaling by level weapon die damage.

Mutagen fighter replaces armor training. Use the mutagen for difficult fights getting a boost to natural AC and the +4 to Str giving me a little more hitting power. Have Power Attack with Furious Focus plan on Cleave later on.

Ah, a mutagen warrior. My advise but two handing a one handed weapon with Baldric srill applies. Cab you use a shield with extra hand?

Literally anyone can drop two feats on Shield Focus+Unhindering Shield and get an unenchanted buckler that gives you +2 AC and can eventually be enchanted to +7 with no downside besides the opportunity cost. As a fighter, you can take Greater Shield Focus and make the +3/+8. Imo, really cheesy, but legal by RAW.
