Casting enlarge person to make a character large gives them natural reach, which stack with any reach they get from a Reach weapon. However, a spiked chain is not a Reach weapon (it was in D&D).

15’ becomes the reach … your reach increases but your weapons reach does not.
As thorin001 touched upon, in the case of enlarge person, the target's equipment is similarly enlarged. So a Medium human, carrying a medium-sized reach weapon, would then be a Large human (with 10-foot reach naturally), carrying a large-sized reach weapon (which would double their reach out to 15 and 20 feet, and they can't attack anyone closer with that weapon).
The size of the weapon is only really important in relation to the user. A small-sized reach weapon and a huge-sized reach weapon shrunk down to small size would be completely identical in the hands of a Small creature. The only important thing is that it must be appropriately sized to the wielder.

Yes Pizza is correct. Throw Lunge into it for some more Threatening Fun.

for extra reach when needed I always recommend a swordmaster's flair: blue scarf. more so if you have panache or grit to fuel it to more then one minute per day. (and it was FaQed to count as a free hand for stuff)

When you're on the Lounge it's good to have extra reach so that you can get the remote and the chips without having to stand up ;)

But the actual reason for Lunge is so that you can attack on your turn and still get AoOs on your opponent's turn.
If you have a reach weapon and your opponent does not then they provoke an AoO when they move in to attack you. But what if you go first? You move up to attack them, then on their turn they can 5-foot-step, thus avoiding your AoOs and nullifying the advantages of your reach weapon.
However if you have a reach weapon AND Lunge then you can attack them from 10 feet away. Now on their turn they can't 5-foot-step and attack you, if they want to attack they have to use a move action. This means: A) They provoke an AoO when they move to attack you, and B) They don't get a full attack. This is excellent.
So Lunge is good to have on reach builds. Regarding Enlarge and reach, Lunge is only really important when you have Exactly 5 feet more reach than your opponent. If you have 10 feet more reach then you can use that tactic without Lunge, and if you have the same reach as them then it basically does't do anything (it's like my example above of a reach user without Lunge). I guess you can also get some use out of it if your opponent has exactly 5 feet more reach than you as well, allowing you to move up to them and attack without provoking. But if you have the same reach, or if there is a 10 foot difference (or more) in your respective reach scores then it doesn't really do anything.
