Stop beeing undead via becoming a hag?

I whould like to start by stating this is my first time posting here and i am not sure if this is the right place for this post.

We are playing carrion crown with my party slowly paced, having lots of fun. My character is a changeling wizard slowly but steadily shifting from CN TO CG with big motive eigther way to take down whispering way. I was thinking to try and become a member of the whispering way and i am pretty sure i can get the information i will need(we just ended book 3 and i wiped the memories of a weak member which i can track easily and get my information). This is just to give you guys an idea of what is going on but the question applies withought al this.
Assuming i get to become an undead of some kind(mummy wight vampire lich or something else) could i ''cure'' the condition using the ritual to become a hag? I havent found any rules for the ritual so mostly asking of how you view this as an idea whould you consider it possible etc.
Thank you for reading all this.

You wont be a changeling anymore. Your new type is undead. So unlikely. Even more unlikely that the whispering way could be overcome by a lesser ritual.

You don't have to be undead to join the Whispering Way, though as a living creature you will be restricted to the lower ranks. Might be good enough to collect information and assassinate some members.

There are two problems, though: The organization consists of many individuals and small groups working independently, so it's challenging to track down all of them. And if you join them, they might expect some horrible deeds from you, staining your soul. Some deities might not forgive you, since you could have battled the Way from outside.

Still, if you want to go down this dark path, a miracle might cure your undead condition.

Death and reincarnation/true resurrection will both work.

You just have to trust your team mates.

But yeah...becoming an undead to defeat the whispering way....doesn't seem like it would work. All the methods I know of that turn you undead also turn you evil. Once you get to that side, you're unlikely to willingly return. After all, it's a forcible alignment change that's supposed to change your character's outlook.

Thank you all for your opinions and ideas.

Yeah, but there's also forced alignment changes to good you can slurp up right after becoming undead that you can plan ahead for. Turn undead and have your party tie you down and apply some good ol' alignment therapy and poof, CG zombie, ghoul, skeleton, whathaveyou. Probably works best on a vampire or lich though if you're a changeling.

Which method would you recommend? It has to be a method that undead are not immune to, and undead have a lot of immunities.

I mean, you would still have to infiltrate the whispering way. I can't really imagine being able to successfully infiltrate the Whispering Way while being a good undead. I feel like going to require you to do things that will turn you evil.

And I don't personally view destroying the Whispering Way as something that will revert you to being good. You'd be doing a good act, but you're taking evil means to get there.

Ultimately this is something you'd have to work out with your GM...but what I'm saying I guess is if it were me your character would end up being evil because of things that would happen along the way.

However, I do allow evil party members provided they play nicely with the rest of the group.

The part that I'd be most unlikely to allow is you actually being Undead (because the immunities).
