So lets say as per the title thread, by some random divine act, due to your "crimes" you have been sentenced to become a fiend as per pathfinder universe.
However you get to choose what sort of fiend you will become?
As per a simple list we have;
Demon
Devil
Daemon
Asura
Demodand
Div
Velstrac/Kyton
Oni
Qlippoth
Rakshasa
Sahkil; as well as miscellaneous (i.e those not belonging to a species of fiend)
Which would you pick?

Which would you pick?
The thought of any of those existing in the real world, given their natures and abilities, is terrifying.
But definitely one that isn't part of a heirarchy of evil and doesn't come with an entire dimension of nasty relatives and can appear as a regular person, so Rakshasa.

Rakshasa have a whole caste system that they reincarnate into based on their previous life performance. Even if you want to escape it, your fellow Rakshasa will force you back into the position they want you to be in if you aren't powerful enough to force them under you. Killing them just makes them more angry and they return with an organize plan for revenge 10-100 years later.
I do approve of the Rakshasa choice though, cycle of reincarnation is a nice perk and it is possible to leave the evil cycle through a virtuous life. Not that a fiend would want to.

Oh, what I consider to be perfectly fair and neutral is probably looked at as horribly evil to the vast majority of people today... and I'm not even a powerful fiend (yet).
I would Thanos like a MF with a passing whim if it meant that 99.99% of the sentient life left alive [after the *snap*] avoided me and left me the "F" alone...

To be fair, there are those that want to be left alone and rule quietly in evil and wanton pursuit of their vices. Such as Oni.
I probably would pick an Oni such as Kuwa Oni (human like oni) or a just a regular rakshasa.
However if I had to pick another, it would probably be a sahkil (though what type I am not sure) I like the idea of the sahkil, being former psychopomp's that went, screw it, we're all going to die soon so lets rule and ride it out in style!

Hmm, if I was evil I would be lawful evil, so probably a devil.
Lawful evil villains are more interesting to me. The lawful aspect gives those characters an interesting dimension in terms of motive that I don’t find in neutral evil or chaotic evil characters that are often run of the mill, boring, psychopaths.
