That sounds suspiciously like something a person who needs to be smote would say!!

"Life is short! Bury! Steady Sword!"

You'll never get a turn!

"Spirits of time, hide us from the judging hand of God! Stop!"

Stupid time mages! Always ruining a battle!

C'mon, Ramza, do it for me:

"Time, rest and give your kindness to the worthy! Slow!"

Hey! Turn off the GameShark!

(Statistically speaking, your mage's speed sucks or your ninja/thief got some tur'ble mp!)

((Besides slow doesn't stack! Dang it!))

Of course, repeated Yell often isn't an optimal idea unless you already have enough speed or move for many of your crew to avoid the enemy - so usually not v. chocobos - or you have enough hp to tank them - so usually not v. heaviest-hitters - or you have control (usually via knights or thieves, but also mages and that blessed atheistic gift from Heaven, Mustadio) of the battle/enemy anyway, so... but it does mean you don't really have to worry much about Slow, and allows you to rapidly gain 'dem JP by whapping your own dudes with rocks. Just bring lots of healing. On whoever has the 50 speed. At least relative to others.

laughs in zero faith

But not really, 'cause I was never able to make myself do that to my units. We made rather wonderful calculators, though. Every one.

(But real talk, frog was one of the best non-knight control scheme you could come up with in a battle for long-term dominance, and the best quick-hit dominance you could get pre-Engineer/Mustadio. All hail the hypno toad frog! ... wait something's wrong with that. Give me a minute...)

Ew! Queklain was soooo~ooo gross~!

EDIT: so, like, those links contain spoilers to FFT and Fate/Grand Order (I think - the wiki only calls itself Grand Order, but I think the entire series has the "Fate/" thing in front of it, but, I'unno. I'm a casual, at best, who only watched one of the series they had on Netflix once.) Anyway, point is, big spoilers for 20+ year-old game and uh a newer game and/or anime (I think this one is a game).

(I have to admit I had to Google to get the reference. For those who are unaware, I was making a pun(? maybe it's a pun? I don't actually know...) based on a naming/translation error.

EDIT: spoiler and clarification:

1) I don't even know if my response was in character with anyone in particular. I was mostly making a joke about the FF character being pretty gross and F/S characters being usually anime-beautiful. The original Hound of Ulster, though, was... pretty horrendous. That was, like, his whole... thing. At least when he hulked out.

2) I did not expect something with that dialogue to be so literal as to rip someone's heart out, which his what I'm guessing happens, given the fact that it's a death effect, at least from what I could gather from the wiki.

Gotta say, the first time my wife saw him (which was, like, two days ago when I showed her the transformation sequence), she got a mildly confused look on her face (with a hint of disgust or rejection or just... trying to process) and said, "So he... turned into Oogie Boogie, then?"

I mean, you know, if you want to get technical theBestKindOfCorrect you could note that being a non-extant fantasy creature is the most thorough way possible to not catch Covid-19.

So... it's like it's on topic...
