In a youtube/twitch Mark suggested 10 feet, but was clear this wasn’t final, just what he guessed it was going to end up being.
Looking at the other thrown weapons it’s fairly clearly either going to be ten or twenty feet.

'monster' leshy can fire seeds/pods 30', so is it 10', 20' or 30'? Who knows... All I know is that it's NOT "fairly clearly either going to be ten or twenty feet." :P

I thought there was going to be a "Fell Gnome" heritage, but I don't see it on AoN. Did that not make it into the book?
the book details a bunch for ancestry fluff but doesn't give heritages for all of them. although I don't think Fell gnomes need a new heritage, it just explains that some gnomes absorb the same primal energies as normal gnomes but from more sinister sources that they're they tend to become more of a Gallows humor gnome.
actually looking into it it says this
Fell gnomes often have the umbral gnome or wellspring gnome (occult) heritage, though the sensate gnome and chameleon gnome heritages are also common.
I think we're seeing that many "ethnicities"(for lack of a better word) use the same heritages as their base.

Most throw weapons are 20, so I would go with that. Especially since they do not need to be drawn.
Only javelin is 30' and you need to draw it, or get returning.
No reload/draw isn't exactly all a bonus as it locks you out of things like hunted shot and no returning also means no other ranged runes/Specific Magic Weapons either as you aren't enchanting it as a ranged weapon but a natural weapon [as melee weapons of the brawling group with light Bulk for these purposes] with Handwraps of Mighty Blows. It's not too big a deal now but the more new feats, runes and magic weapons that come out, the more it's going to matter.
Also note, that as an unarmed attack it doesn't count as a weapon for most things: "unarmed attacks aren’t weapons, and effects and abilities that work with weapons never work with unarmed attacks unless they specifically say so." IMO, comparing it to a normal thrown weapon isn't very compelling as for a lot of things, it just isn't treated as one.

This book has a lot of different things I kinda want to build characters around. Like the Fungus Leshy or Vournoi elves whom I want to play for the art and lore. Or Scalding Spit or Serrating or Everstand Stance or Mask Familiar or the Scrollmaster archetype which have near mechanics I want to base a character around.

Other feat-locked ranged unarmed attacks have 30' ranges, rather than 10' or 20'. Both Wild Winds Gust and Scalding Spit attacks are ranged unarmed attacks with 30' range. So maybe leshy seedpods will resemble those and the bestiary entry and have 30' range instead of mimicking manufactured thrown weapons.
