I'm just curious about what other role-playing games Pathfinder and Starfinder fans are also playing.

Right now, I'm running a Dungeon World campaign, set in the weird Heavy Metal-inspired setting The Ultraviolet Grasslands.

I am also playing in a Star Wars: The Role Playing Game campaign, that's using the first edition of West End Games d6 Star Wars system. (I sold all of my WEG Star Wars books years ago, and am using Fantasy Flight Games' recent reprint of the 1987 edition of the rules.

In the past year, I've played in a bunch of multi-session RPGs using the following systems...

Dungeons & Dragons (5th edition)
Dungeon World
Swords of the Serpentine
Fate (both Core and Accelerated Editions)
Legacy: Life Among the Ruins (2nd edition)
Spirit of '77
Monster of the Week

And I've played one-shot sessions of...

GURPS
Blue Rose
Call of Cthulhu
Fiasco
Trophy
Lasers & Feelings
The Final Girl
Star-Crossed

What non-Pathfinder/Starfinder TTRPGs have you all been playing?

Sovereign Court

Mongoose Traveller 2 is what we are rocking right now.
Looking to do some BattleTech/Mechwarrior soon too.

And for the record... My Star Wars campaign is winding down. When we wrap that game, we're planning on trying out this new-fangled Pathfinder Second Edition thing that's been getting some press...

The Dresden Files

I've been running some D&D 5E for my kids on and off over the past couple years. They get to play it more than I do right now, thanks to summer camp and their school's RPG club. But I may end up running some for my regular group while we're taking a break from my PF campaign for a while.

My wife has been making noises about finally running more Earthdawn soon, so that might happen during this hiatus. (She and another member of our gaming group supported the KS for 4E, and she recently acquired the handful of organized play adventures released for it.)

One member of our group has run a couple sessions of Pugmire for us, and we all want more. But that will probably have to wait until he gets Pirates of Pugmire.

I've played Blades in the Dark recently. It's a Powered by the Apocalypse game, and it's a lot of fun. My one gaming group had a campaign going for a few months, but we put it on hiatus once the GM started attending a certification class right before gaming. He was too tired to run, so another play is doing a 5E homebrew campaign.

Played a few games in my youth... Mainly the first two:

In Nomine Satanis/Magna Veritas (french game)
Dungeons and dragons (1st and 2d edition)

then some:
Oeil Noir ("Dark Eye")
Marvel Super Heroes advanced set
Call of Cthulu
Stormbringer

One shots of
Paranoia, Robotech, Street wars (an house created game), Vampire, DC heroes, Vilains &Vigilantes, etc...

Played a one-shot Call of Cthulhu game last weekend. Long been one of my favorites.

I've played some 70 different RPGs in my time, but my current games are:

PF1
PF2
Starfinder
D&D 5e
Tales from the Loop
Werewolf: Apocalypse
Call of Cthulhu
Trail of Cthulhu
Dungeon World
My Little Pony: Tails of Equestria

After really touting a new DC Heroe's Campaign, the guy in my group whose idea it was ran three and decided it was too much work to come up with adventures. I've been the near-constant GM for 34 years and I was excited to get to play something, especially a game I loved. But nope.

Over the past year to 18 months:

Ars Magica
Castles & Crusades
Adventurer, Conquerer, King System
Warhammer Fantasy RPG
Würm (roleplaying in the last Ice Age)

So, this past last weekend, we brainstormed ideas for what we want to play during the hiatus from my PF campaign. The suggestion that got the most traction was my teenaged daughter's homebrew 5E campaign, almost entirely because she has worked up stats for mudborn, a playable race of Small axolotl people. (And her artwork for them is utterly adorable.) So we made up an all-mudborn party, with everyone playing a different subrace. I'm not sure when we'll be able to start--it depends on schedules and how much prep time she needs--but hopefully pretty soon. I want to find out if my 2-foot-tall barbarian actually works.

I'm very proud of this kid, she's a geek after my own heart, who has caught the RPG bug pretty hard. She's ecstatic that her very first campaign idea is something that has us 40somethings excited to try it out.

Very nice, I do like In Nomine. The Steve Jackson translation, have they done a new (French) version? Since the one thing, I thought, it was a trifle short on - was adventures.

I haven’t gotten much to the table this year other than The Veil and my own game, which uses the Belonging Outside Belonging system from Dream Askew//Dream Apart. PbtA and adjacent stuff is my jam.

The Exchange RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16

About two years ago, I took a break from Pathfinder Society to focus on those elements of home campaigns I missed the most. My players wanted a system that was intuitive to learn and didn't have Pathfinder's opportunities for system mastery. And I wanted to build my own campaign world.

I'm just about to start the campaign, in a system about 75% Fantasy Flight's Genesys game engine and 25% Green Ronin's AGE system.

Our group is currently playing:

The One Ring
Pendragon
The Expanse

In the past three years or so, we’ve played:

Mindjammer
The Doctor Who RPG (previously known as Doctor Who Adventures in Time and Space) from Cubicle 7
Castle Falkenstein
Lady Blackbird
Star Trek Adventures
D&D 5E
and several one-off games including Fiasco and Ten Candles

while we also slowly completed two Pathfinder APs.

Out of all these games, I thought that the Doctor Who RPG was the best at enabling player creativity without demanding it at any particular moment. It’s a game that encourages the GM to allow a high proportion of the players’ unexpected and bizarre plans to work. (And it’s our only game (so far) that has contained eels on an airship, digital champagne, a breeding pair of show velociraptors, and rampaging robots disguised as the statuettes from a certain well-known motion picture awards ceremony). I’m thinking of adapting the rules for a swashbuckling style of adventure, if there’s enough interest in our group.

The games played this year:
Legend Of The Five Rings 5th edition (1st, 3rd, and 4th in the past)
Age Of Rebellion, Edge Of Empire, Force And Destiny (Star Wars games from FFG, Star Wars d6 in the past)
Dungeons And Dragons 5th edition (AD&D 2nd edition, D&D 3rd and 3.5 in the past)
Forbidden Lands
Conan: Adventures In An Age Undreamed Of
Infinity
Tol Calen
Dresden Files

In the previous years
Pathfinder 1st edition, Fate, World Of Darkness, Chronicles Of Darkness, Call Of Cthulhu (to which we are likely to come back as the new edition will be released around soon), Warhammer Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader, Warhammer 1st and 2nd edition, Coriolis, Star Trek Adventures, Dungeon World, Savage Worlds, Fading Suns, Earthdawn, Amber, Deadlands, 7th Sea, GURPS (3rd and 4th editions), MERP, Witcher RPG, some other systems.

AD&D 1E
D&D 5E
Traveler.

Stars Without Number, in the Other Dust setting. A bit of post-apocalypse is good sometimes.

GURPS 4e, the PCs are members of the Infinity Patrol.

In the past Savage Worlds, many versions of D&D, d20 Modern, Call of Cthulhu (7 certainly, possibly other versions), Shadow of the Demon Lord, Rolemaster (various versions) & MERP, many versions of Traveler, Twilight:2000, a couple of versions of Gamma World, Alternity (original & playtest of recent), Mechwarrior, Fading Suns, Earthdawn 1 & 2, Warhammer FRPG 2 & 3, a couple of Star Trek RPGs and one of Doctor Who whose exact names I forget, In Nomine, Vampire/Werewolf & spinoffs (Edit: no one else mentioned these?), Ars Magica 3 & 4, GURPS 3, Blue Rose (current, not the original), 7th Sea, and more if I spent long enough thinking about this.

Haladir wrote:

Technically I'm Starfinder agnostic since I've never played it nor likely ever will.

I gave up my 5e campaign because players are flaky as ####!

Currently still a regular, if secondary, member of my cousin's 3.PF Eberron campaign. However, in the month of December he plans to convert his campaign over to 5e because this is coming out in November and he's fatigued with all the Rules Mastery needed to keep a 3.PF game moving.

A few years ago I looked into ye olde TTRPGs and thought I would like to play RuneQuest and Ars Magica but could never find anyone to play. Found a few who had played one or both but none that currently did or were interested.

I've thought about playing Cthulhu but the GM would have to be good to make it work. I've played detective scenarios before as well as the time-is-running-out adventures - and Cthulhu is both of those iirc - so the GM really needs to be sharp to keep it interesting.

THe OP and many other posters have been very luck as between work and other responsibility barely have time to play in a PF 1E.

I did by Torg Eternity a few days ago not sure if I will ever run or play it.

I'm not currently in any games, but the ones I am excited to play or run as soon as I can get a group together are:

Star Trek Adventures
Star Wars
Shadowrun 6e (this is likely the one I'll have a group for soonest)
And as soon as my book arrives, Dragons Conquer America (I can't wait to run this!)

Trying to make a session of Heart: The City Beneath happen, but I’m torn between the quickstart or waiting for the glorious full release.

I'm running some Star Trek Adventures, and playing in some Scion, as well as Legend of the Five Rings (4th Edition). Eventually, I want to run a Torg Eternity game, but one step at a time.

Well, this year we finished our 3 year long Anima: Beyond Fantasy campaign (we died like chumps but it was fun), and started a number of new games, which we haven't played much yet but are ongoing in our hearts at least:

Mouseguard
Numenera (only one session, but it's been fun so far)
Mutants and Masterminds (currently on hiatus because one of the players lost his character sheet)
Ryuutama (in which one character managed to actually die in?? our gm was impressed)
Godbound (also only 1 session. Love the faction making rules)

Added to this is Starfinder, which is mostly Space: The Memes, and Pathfinder 2E which is having great success.

I can't wait for this (I've liked the last two, flavor-heavy books). The rulebook isn't out yet, right? Just the beginner box?

It is available! I picked it up at GenCon. It’s also available on the Catalyst site. I am not sure if it is up here yet, but I can ask Katina about it.

I also got a book called No Future which is pretty close to completely world lore. It’s wonderful!

I've seen a new French edition of In Nomine a year ago, not sure it found its public. There have been four editions of the game previously, the first one being the more humurous.

I know there was a place were you can download the previous, out of print, French versions, but I'm not sure its still active

BESM - big eyes small mouth, an anime themed rpg that we play from time to time.
Werewolf the apocalypse,
D20’s wheel of time series
Occasional 1 shots for AD&D as well as 1st ed D&D.

I did enjoy both No Future and the Neo Anarchists Streetpedia (?) something like that. Shadowrun lore has always been great.

I recently played a four-game series of Night Witches.

Bundle of Holding has a Traveller 4e bundle and an Old-School Revival bundle up at the moment.

The OSR bundle includes my favorite module title of all time: "What Ho, Frog Demons!"

The two RPGs I haven't yet played and am most looking forward to trying out are Legacy: Life Among the Ruins and Swords Without Master.

Planning a Hunter campaign, have done a few WFRP one shots with family, recently quit a Fate game and walked away from the system, and would love to get a LotFP group going, I have a whole campaign planned out for that.

I forgot to mention that I've been GMing a solo BESM 3E game, set in mythological Greece, for my wife for the past several years. We've gotten into endgame territory with the campaign, as her PC is trying to prevent Typhon escaping the underworld and starting another war with the gods. We're hoping to wrap that up within the next few months, so that I'll have more free head space for my other homebrew campaign (the PF one that's currently on hiatus).

I'm playing in a 5e game (Out of the Abyss) and running the occasional game of Alien. Alien is great, I'd recommend people play it in cinematic mode but I'm not too sure about campaign mode as the game is quite lethal.

Currently in a Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign.

GM allowed me to effectively resurrect an old AD&D (1e!) character into the 5e setting, someone who had been a hero decades ago but only vaguely remembers it, with a lot of eldritch shenanigans happening in the background.

Details:
Character was an Elf Fighter back then, but in this go is a 'Psychic Warrior Simic Hybrid'. It appears that whoever did the experimentation either used aboleth parts or it's part of some greater scheme. He refers to a 'mythical' 'big bro' all the time -- no one else can see 'big bro', but character swears they are Haunted. Waiting to see how it plays out. Currently has the Amphibious quality and a pair of funky tentacles going on...

littlediegito, you mentioned 'Dragons Conquer America' -- how does that play/have you gotten that yet?

Scarab Sages

I’ve played a lot of different systems in the past:

RuneQuest
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay
Fantasy Hero
Champions!
All editions of D&D except 4th
Mutants & Masterminds
Savage Worlds
Big Eyes Small Mouth
GURPS
FASA Stat Trek
West End Games Star Wars
Risus The Everything RPG

But my only non-Paizo game now (and currently the only game because social distancing) is Star Wars Saga Edition.

My group only wants to play PF1e and no one else will step up to GM. BUT this coming Friday one of the guys offered to run a DC Heroes game. I was very excited because I love the game. But, I had to cancel all games for the foreseeable future because of the COVID-19 boogie. Dang it.

We are playing Kingmaker and Star Wars on Roll20. It’s not perfect, but at least we are still playing.

I got After the Bomb and Road Hogs.

Should be a good time!

We had session zero last week for the Pirates of Drinax Traveller campaign. Really looking forward to it.

RPGs I've played so far in 2020

Project Perseus [unpublished playtest]: 1 session - Player
Pathfinder 2e: 14 sessions, 1 campaign ("Age of Ashes") - Player
Monster of the Week: 8 sessions, 1 campaign ("The Invisible College) - GM
Night Witches: 1 session - Player
Lasers & Feelings: 1 session - GM
D&D 5e: 7 sessions, 1 campaign ("Mother of Crows") - Player
Trophy Dark: 4 sessions, 2 groups ("Invisible College: Flashback 1895"; "The Forest of Blades") - GM
Honey Heist: 1 session - GM
Fall of Magic: 2 sessions, 1 campaign - Player [GM-less RPG]
Fiasco: 1 session ("Tales From Suburbia") - Player [GM-less RPG]

Not actively playing but I really, really, really want to play a game of Lancer. I just read the core rulebook and what I saw hit all the right notes for me. It's also the first time a pre-written setting has actually seriously engaged me.

One thing about the pandemic... I am sure playing a lot of RPGs!

Here's what I've played thus far in 2020...

Pathfinder 2e (23 sessions; 69 hours)
Monster of the Week (14 sessions, 42 hours)
D&D 5e (8 sessions, 23.5 hours)
Trophy Dark (5 sessions, 16 hours)
Fall of Magic (2 sessions, 8 hours)
Brindlewood Bay (2 sessions, 6 hours)
Escape From Dino Island (1 session, 4 hours)
Honey Heist (1 session, 3 hours)
Laser Metal (1 session, 4 hours)
Lasers & Feelings (1 session, 3 hours)
Night Witches (1 session, 3 hours)
Project Perseus (1 session, 3 hours)
Star Trek Adventures (1 session, 4 hours)
Starfinder (1 session, 5 hours)
Trophy Gold (1 session, 4 hours)

And my GM/Player breakdown...

GM: 25 sessions; 77.5 hours
Player: 38 sessions; 118.5 hours

Why, yes, I do keep a spreadhseet!

Note: I listed myself as a player when I was in GM-less games, such as Fall of Magic.

(Oh, and I realized that the "Fiasco" session I listed back in May was actually in late December 2019, so I'm no longer counting it...)

@Haladir: Are the 1 session games failures, or are there some of those you'd recommend?

Have been playing a lot of Legend of the Five Rings 5th ed lately.
