Yeah it's the excess Fe3+ ions in the water that gives everything in there the gold sheen. There are no fish in the water and we were speculating that it's too toxic for life in there.Pretty. Especially the waterfall. I guess it is the minerals in the stone that give it that cool golden look.
Pretty but lifeless hmm If I was the right kind of philosopher their would be a lot to read into that.
I cheated and used my BFs pictures because he has a Hua Wei phone that takes much better pictures then mine.
These are all great.
Should just be a professional photographer.

Start with The Ascension album It's their best one IMO.Didnt have time yesterday evening. So in gaming news, my group has told me (or at least my GM and the other players agreed) I've been house ruled; No full casters. Apparently my predilection for planar travel unnerves them. Even though I never went to a) any of the Lower Planes and b) I only went to ONE elemental Plane...and it wasn't even the wet one!No full casters? I'd be upset. Are all you guys relativity new to the game? I guess full caster can be hard for a low level DM.
No they are experienced players and GMs. I think the major reason is because I just did it on a whim and this isn't the first time I used a fairly high level spell slightly irresponsibly. (I used Explode head to kill one wolf...when we were fighting Orcs.)

Are you disrupting the game by bamfing off to the celestial realm constantly? In which case, you should probably stop that. Or are they mad because you use plane shifting to overcome obstacles? In which case, they could just ban plane shifting spells.
I dunno about CONSTANTLY...but this is like my second time in the planes. The first time was as the paladin when we still had our assimar oracle of life. But since I went Shaman...and we now have 7th level spells. (NOT A LOT! But you know...access and such)...I just felt like with the shaman who wanted to a) help and b) didn't much care for humans and cities... This worked for him. Also when I've had other casters (mostly my drow wizard who was afraid of hippos ...and that's about it) they tend to wonder about my planning...

That's weird, given that you need a planar key as a focus component to travel to a specific plane. Seems like that is completely within the GM's control...

The GM didn't read the spell component part and doesn't always read up on all the books he has available to him. So basically I gots tuning forks.

Hmm you know I never thought about eschew materials getting you around that but their is really no reason that it shouldn't.
Guest staying with us a week every night so far (4 nights) he has lost his key and needed me to make a new one. Some people...
Ah yes and their head is attached to them making it significantly harder to lose.

Eschew Materials specifically lets you ignore material components, not focus components.
Also, while the magic chapter DOES say to assume any focus components of negligible cost are in your pouch, the spell component pouch descriptor says anything that “wouldn’t fit” in a pouch aren’t included (regardless of cost). A GM could reasonably rule that, given the potentially infinite number of planes/demiplanes, keys for each would not fit in a pouch.

We back tracked as we were neither equipped with a flashlight(mine wasn't powerful enough, even a cellphone did a better job) nor wet weather gear.
Note about the Baiyang Waterfall trail:
Baiyang Waterfall (2.2 km/1.2miles) (round trip 4 km/2.4miles)
Seven hundred meters up the highway from Tianxiang is a tunnel carved into the cliff at the roadside. The tunnel is about 380 meters long, and the trail continues from the far end. An hour walk brings you to Baiyang Waterfall. This trail exhibits splendid examples of the geology and morphology of the marble gorge. The path is wide and well maintained with a comfortable pavilion near the waterfall. Shuilien Tunnel, beyond Baiyang Waterfall, is closed. Please do not enter.(This section of river is the main Liwu River; the section of river the highway follows out from Tianxiang is only a tributary).(Please bring a flash light.)
Unfortunately the trail to Chang Chun shrine was closed due to maintenance.

Well you are for sure making me want to visit. everything looks so pristine and unique compared to my local sights which for sure have their beauty too but its just so different.

Well that's mighty kind of you, neighbor. I'm just a simple country rules lawyer who doesn't understand all this fuss and muss about fancy big city plane shifting, but I do like to think I've got some honest down-home quibblin to contribute to the discussion.

Oh, the glass bridge gives me shivers!
Most of it is frosted, so you can't look down anyway, the problem is with the bees that are attracted to you for some god knows what reason and keep buzzing around you. And you can't snack them since if you do, as they die they will release a chemical that attracts more bees to attack you.

Ate:
Live jumping shrimp out of a cup. To the amazement from the locals who were expecting me to be squeamish. Eh, I'm not and besides after a morning of walking and biking, I was really hungry, so...
And a barbecued quail.
And that's Ascension 13 completed with Ironclad.
I got to 5 with iron clad I was like one round of attacks away from getting to 6 but I drew a bad hand :P
The white sand made the mountain look like it was covered in ash from the further back picture. Very interesting. The glass floors are cool sometimes slippery but the heights thing never bothered me but I am prone to tripping.

So you eat the shrimp live? Don't you get all the gross bits that way? (intestinal tract etc. )
And there goes Ascension 12 for Silence. Barely.
Silence is giving me the most trouble. I think I need to be more defensive.
Lots of defense and poison works for me. But it's not easy.
I almost had one it was looking good had the artifact that gives you free shurkens and increases the damage as well as the one that adds more poison. The card that give poison on hit so I was rocking it untill the last boss was the $%^& time snail.
I usually don't bother with shivs too much. I may take one Infinite Blades so that I have a little offense. Otherwise, I prefer to remove all Strikes, get good defense gain (Footwork is nice), get a Noxious Fumes or two, and a couple of Catalysts. A Corpse Explosion can be pretty helpful, too.
It was working pretty well for most of it. I was killing things the first round between them and the two exhaust 0 cost damage cards that I had. Most things died the first or second turn. The other thing that helped was the artifact that gives you a free buffer.
I do like catalyst I once got the statue head to like 900 or so poison using 2 of them.
Yeah, Catalyst+ is great, especially if combined with the card that says "The next Skill you play this turn is played twice." That means you spend 2 energy to multiply an enemy's poison by 9.I usually don't bother with shivs too much. I may take one Infinite Blades so that I have a little offense. yeah you just have to get a bit on them before hand to make it worth it. I don't know if the silent or the defect is more combo-ie.

The shrimp were very small. Maybe about the length of one section of your thumb for the bigger ones. Besides the BBQ quail? I ate the crispy head, including the brains. I don't have much eating finesse to begin with (waste not want not) and if I'm hungry, any semblance of good manners flies out of the window. Believe me, after a mix of walking and biking in the morning and walking half an afternoon, I was definitely hungry.

I was worried if the shrimp were bigger and started jumping, the sharp ridge on their heads might poke the roof of my mouth, but they really were too small, so it was just one bite. I promise, it was really quick for those shrimps.

I did an impromptu 1.6km run round trip to cover distance between places so I could get to thermal Valley and hot spring museum in time to take pictures, under an hour to catch the train to the airport.
I think I would do more running if their was sight like this around me. well maybe not running. or jogging. walking.. yeah walking.
