Expeditious search feat effecting part of the playtest

EXPEDITIOUS SEARCH
Prerequisites master in Perception
You have a system that lets you search at great speed, finding details and secrets twice as quickly as others can. When searching, you take half as long as usual to search a given area. This also allows you to move twice as quickly while exploring and ensure you’ve searched an area before walking into it. If you’re legendary in Perception, you instead search areas four times as quickly.

Would the feat have any effect?

Could not get spoiler to work :(

Is there a better place to put this , go ahead and move it. I dont post very often.

Not sure what you're asking. The feat allows you to search faster. I can't think of any part of the playtest where you have to search for something in a limited time, if that's your question.

And even if there was sucha part, being able to deal with such situations faster and easier is the whole point of this feat.

Part of the reason for those double movement feats is how they also interact with the exploration system.

You move double your speed while exploring also means you can explore in half the rounds.

So you only need to search every second "round". So you can combine expeditious search with another, non fatiguing, exploration tactic

Yes, this feat DOES significantly affect one particular chapter in Doomsday Dawn (which is what I think you may well be referring to).

But I don't think its a huge deal. Without this feat my group had no problems with finding everything in sufficient time. The feat will increase your groups odds but not in any game breaking way
