Current issue I'm seeing with the tracker. I'm not finding a way to change my email address

Scarab Sages

@Mystical Seeker: You cannot change your email address in the UI. It never really came up and that is dev time. Regardless if you mail me your PFSnumber, your current email and your wanted email from the email address you have put on the profile I can change it for you.

If you do not have access to that email anymore it is a bit trickier to identify you. :/

Thank you for the wonderful service of providing pfstracker.

Is it possible, given the nature of the replayability of SFS 2-00, to have it listed for each tier bracket that it is replayable in?

No probs!

Anyhow it is possible, but then it shows up three or four times. I considerd doing that, as Paizo did it with another special, but then it actually had 3-4 names and numbers.

Since the pfstracker does not (at this time) allow you to specifically track tiers and how often you ran through a scenario I decided against it for now. The idea being that if in the future that option is added this won't have to be changed everytime.

If it really is a big problem I'll split it, but at the moment I kind of hope it isn't a big problem?

I dunno, splitting by tiers makes sense to me. If you can play each tier once because they've got different content, then they're halfway to being separate scenarios. Not that much different from modules that give multiple chronicles, which you also separate.

If I was organizing this scenario and had to move people to another table because of a mustering problem, I'd appreciate knowing which tier people could go to.

Random question, not a complaint: why are so many Season 10 scenarios listed as unknown authors?

According to what I understand, It takes extra work to link the authors to the scenarios.

Also, Simon got married recently....

Glen is correct, it takes extra work. I have been putting it off because I am still making a interface to do so easily, though ... I guess I have just not had enough time lately.

I want Glen here to be able to do it. :)

Also ... 'recently', been over half a year. :) And STILL GOING STRONG! :D

@Lau: Noted! :)

As always, Simon, thank you for maintaining such an awesome site for all of us!

I don't know what the status of the "We Be Heroes?" module is for PF v2, but I know that the Starfinder "Skitter Crash" Free RPG Day module is (or soon will be) able to be reported for SFS credit.

Thanks again!

Scarab Sages

Do we have a link for those Mike? :)

My apologies - I didn't look closely enough at the thread to see that you wanted those. My bad (and thanks for covering, Rob)!

Scarab Sages

No problem Mike! :)

And thanks Robert.

They have been added.

SO I tried registering yesterday on the site, and the process went through un-eventfully (meaning no error messages, everything appeared to execute just fine). However, when I try to log in with the exact credentials I supplied while creating the account, I get a message in the upper right corner that states "Wrong Credentials".

I tried the 'forgot your password' link and tried to reset the password, and I still get the 'wrong credentials' message. I cannot see where I am doing anything incorrectly.

Ideas? Thoughts?

Scarab Sages

You got a PFSnumber I can track you by?

Yep. 197803

Scarab Sages

I looked into the database and your account seems just fine. So you tried resetting your password and got a mail with a reset link?

Maybe try a password that is simpler first, see if that logs you in, then go back to a more complex one?

Alternatively I could delete your account if you had not attached anything to it yet.

This seems weird though. If you want you can PM me with more info.

Changing the PW again did the trick! No idea why it didn't work the first time, but all seems good. Thanks!

Sweet! :) Self solving problems.

I'll be adding PFS2 properly, but it requires a bit more backend code for me. :)

Is there a way to set what character played what scenario or is that something you are working on?

Edit: Also what would be useful is tracking replay credit.

Edit: Also an export to a spread sheet would be useful to combine multiple players to compare would be useful.

Edit: Also being able to see what they have played at what tier would be useful. as an example instead of looking at what they played in season 1, what they have played all seasons at a specific tier would be helpful in finding just things by tier instead of season.

Ahh I see when I look at the list it shows me what I can play, not what I already played.

I assume if I add a group it will show what they can play as a group?

Sovereign Court 4/5 5/5 ** Venture-Lieutenant, Netherlands—Leiden

I think now that there's been this one-time gift of replay credit that's quite large for some people (up to 30), replay does need a rethink.

Could we add a box next to scenarios on the self-reporting page saying "willing to replay" that people can tick?

And then when querying for scenarios that can be played you'd use "has not played OR is willing to replay" as a criterium.

You could add a warning symbol on the scenario display though that "a player would replay this". If you want to get fancy, put on one symbol per replayer with mouseover text with the player's name.

Scarab Sages

@Steven: There is not way to set what character played what (yet). Tracking replay credit should be changed yes. You can export your own or another person's play history, it is on the profile page right next to the word Progression: https://www.pfstracker.net/#/players/25642/

As to what played on what tier, that is not something currently in my build.

@Lau: yeah something like that.

PFS2 first though. :)

Does the Level selection part work? If so then that will cover it.

On what character played what scenario, I noticed it is not there yet, I was suggesting it would be a helpful thing to add. Mostly for personal tracking for the players.

Yeah I know, it is a huge change in the codebase to add the option to mark sessions as more then once. That is what I am working on in the background, but... you know time and stuff.

PFS2 update is almost ready to go live though. :)

Scarab Sages

Alright PFS2 update is live! You can now report and search on the first few PFS2 scenarios.

There are also some small quality of life changes.

As always, if you notice any bugs, do let me know in this thread or in PMs.

Thanks mate!

First thing I noticed was that above the PF2 stuff, there isn't a Player or GM tag above the checkboxes. Just the 2 columns. I assume the left checkboxes are Player?

And will the Profile boxes will be updated for PF2? So when you go on your profile page you can see the same thing? (Sorry if that's next on the list!)

Scarab Sages

Hey James, good point about the labels! Forgot about that, yeah player is left. I'll add them when I have time.

Profile stuff will be updated, but requires a bit more work on my side.

Scarab Sages 2/5 *** Venture-Lieutenant, Oregon—Portland

Thanks for getting PF2 into the tracker. It's awesome. Will you be adding the 1-00 Origin of the Open Road? I'm only seeing the three regular scenarios from launch.

Dark Archive 5/5 5/55/5 *

Are there going to be separate coding options for the PF2 characters or should they just be added to the PFS character list with the appropriate PC number?

Scarab Sages

@Tom: Good point! You got a link for me?

@Joe: I will be updating that asap yes.

Gratuitous extra info:
- Presumably NOT a "special" for glyph purposes
- Playable only with L5 iconic pregens
- NOT evergreen

I was just coming to ask about this, so it seems like it is in hand (albeit not fixed yet). Also the site seems to be having a bit of a go slow at the moment, although that may be my dodgy hotel WiFi.

I've repeatedly requested a password recovery e-mail and not received it. I've used the two e-mail addresses I would have registered with and not received anything at either :(

Scarab Sages

Hey @glass: Server logs tell me that it has been working normally. Likely somewhere else in the connection a slow down occured.

@Sammy T: Weird, message me.

Addendum: Actually it seems something is wrong with recovery mails. I am on it, I got a few PMs of people having a problem as well. So it is most likely something.

1/5

I'm 99% sure I am using the right password to log in, but it fails. And I also tried the recovery password via email option, but received no email (and I did check both email accounts that I could have used for signing up).

Scarab Sages

Yeah... this is quite weird because I do not have that problem myself. I am still diagnosing what the issue is here. You are not the only one, my apologies for whatever is going on.

Scarab Sages

Alright I think I got it, effectively rebooted the thing and it works again. Still looking into why issues popped up to begin with.

So to anyone not recieving emails, if you still do not recieve an email when requesting a password reset now beep me! :)

4/5 ****

Best of luck, I never managed to get the pfsprep password recovery automated tool working after it broke awhile back and have to manually respond to emails about it.

Scarab Sages

If you want to brain on that sometime, I am very familiar with how email relays and settings work.

Could you please add Pathfinder Society Special: Race for the Runecarved Key (https://paizo.com/products/btpy8r0d) when you get a chance? I know it's an odd one because it doesn't have a number.

Grand Lodge 4/5

Pathfinder Adventure, Rulebook Subscriber

I see it at the bottom of Season 4.

Scarab Sages

@zachcallear: Yeah it is an odd one for sure, normally they are 99 or 00, but yeah it is in there as it is listed, without a number as Steven mentioned. :)

It is now. I was still trying to figure out how to add it, I added it as 1-Q now.
