Enlarge Person and Vital Strike by Character Level 6

What are the ways for a character to obtain both vital strike and enlarge person as a spell/sla/class feature by character level 6? I can think of the abyssal bloodrager. Are there any others?

A warpriest can get vital strike at level 6. For enlarge person they'll need the dreamed secrets feat.

A sacred servant paladin gets a domain, the strength domain includes enlarge person. They'll need a +1 training (vital strike) weapon until next level though.

A duergar gets enlarge person as a racial SLA. Any full BAB (or similar, like warpriest) class which gets a bonus feat at level 6 can get vital strike - fighter, obviously.

An occultist with the trappings of the warrior panoply can use their weapon/transmutation implement for legacy weapon to get training (vital strike) and can get enlarge person as a spell known.


Buy a cracked orange prism and ask the party's arcane caster to load Enlarge for your fighter.

The big thing is, you have to be (or count as) full BAB and get a bonus feat at 6. Not many classes meet both of those requirements.


Come to think of it with multiclassing it's going to be easier to get a bonus feat at the right time. e.g. Sacred servant paladin 4-5 / fighter 1-2. Mind you, this 'at level 6 exactly' condition is pretty artificial.

Thanks. This is a big help. The game is an E6 game so no leveling past level 6, which is why the level 6 exactly condition is artificial.


Right but in E6 you will get extra feats, which means that classes which don't get a bonus feat at level 6 - like that sacred servant paladin - can still get vital strike. Similarly for any bloodrager (not just abyssal bloodline), a shifter, or a barbarian with the abyssal blood rage power.

Silver Crusade

The better combination over all is the Accelerated Drinker and Enlarged Person Potion. This makes Enlarge Person a move action instead of a Full Round and with Being a Follower of Gorum u get Lead Blades as a Spell.

Or a Barbarian with the Drunken Brute archetype. (This archetype stacks with Invulnerable Rager.)

Are races restricted? Ifrits have an alternate racial trait that gets them to Enlarge/Reduce Self once a day.


Get a frickin' wand.

Edit: Oh wait, this is E6, so UMD basically doesn't work and wands are probably artifacts. Nevermind. : )


I decided on going ranger with the Natural Weapon style and relying on potions (or party members) for enlarge person. However, all of the information here was very useful for evaluating options.
