I was thinking about building a witch who is focused around landing Bestow Curse.
As such, one of my main priorities would be getting its DC pumped as possible.
My first thought was combining the Seasons Witch (picking Winter) and the Winter Witch archetypes.
Between the two, it would cause Bestow Curse to become a cold spell, deal an extra 1d4 cold damage on success, and gain +2 to its DC.
Aside from that, I could take Spell Focus + Greater Spell Focus on Necromancy for another +2 DC.
+4 is a decent start, but I'm looking for more suggestions.
My friend pointed out that if I take the Magical Knack trait, I could take two 1-level dips while keeping my Witch's caster level the same, and suggested taking a dip into Boreal Sorcerer for another +1 DC (from the bloodline arcana) (and getting the perks of having extra spells). He pointed out too that if I don't care about the bloodline power, I could take a bloodline familiar, to give my familiar extra powers and prevent it from taking the level hit.
Any ideas what might make another good 1 level dip?
Or feats that might boost DCs of curse or cold descriptor spells?

I would recommend getting Evil Eye, Misfortune, and Cackle, and either one of these above items. Debuffing their saves with Evil Eye and causing them to roll twice and take a lesser result can really help with landing your Bestow Curse.
Also, this goes without saying I think but I'll say it anyway, boof your intelligence with https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/h-l/head band-of-vast-intelligence
Edit: by lvl 6, you "should" have around 16,000gp for player wealth, so you could get the Voidfrost Robes AND a +2 Int Headband. That's an additional +2 to your DC.

Also I don't recommend dipping, 2-3 levels of casting isn't worth bumping the save by 1. If you really wanted to do that, you should just use heighten metamagic to give it a +1 DC in the higher level spell slot you have by not dipping. Also, take Magical Lineage (Bestow Curse) and Wayang Spellhunter (Bestow Curse) to get up to 2 free levels of metamagic. At level 5 you can be casting a 5th level Heightened Bestow Curse in a 3rd level slot.

Question: If you use Persistent Spell on a target already suffering from a Misfortune Hex, would they roll 3 times? or two times for each roll, so a total of 4 times?
.
Persistent Spell (Metamagic)
You can modify a spell to become more tenacious when its targets resist its effect.
Benefit: Whenever a creature targeted by a persistent spell or within its area succeeds on its saving throw against the spell, it must make another saving throw against the effect. If a creature fails this second saving throw, it suffers the full effects of the spell, as if it had failed its first saving throw.
Level Increase: +2 (a persistent spell uses up a spell slot two levels higher than the spell’s actual level.)
Spells that do not require a saving throw to resist or lessen the spell’s effect do not benefit from this feat.
.
Misfortune (Su)
Effect: The witch can cause a creature within 30 feet to suffer grave misfortune for 1 round. Anytime the creature makes an ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, it must roll twice and take the worse result. A Will save negates this hex. At 8th level and 16th level, the duration of this hex is extended by 1 round. This hex affects all rolls the target must make while it lasts. Whether or not the save is successful, a creature cannot be the target of this hex again for 1 day.

I honestly think it's four rolls, but the one time I tried it I agreed to three rolls reluctantly.
It can probably be read both ways. Persistent spell says "it must make another saving throw" so maybe just one. But honestly, I read misfortune as applying to each saving throw caused by the persistent metamagic. There may be an order of operations problem here.
But the argument feels a lot stronger for four rolls unless there is an FAQ I am unfamiliar with.

Yeah, I'm inclined to believe that your first save on the Persistent Spell is rolled twice because of Misfortune, and the second save of the Persistent spell is rolled twice again, because "ANYTIME the creature makes an ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, it must roll twice and take the worse result." Where ANYTIME is the key word for logical order of precedence.
Because, if you roll against a Persistent Spell and fail the first save, you don't roll a second time. And ANYTIME you make a save, you roll twice and take the worse result.

You can just put a couple ranks into intimidate and make your targets shaken before fights, which is another -2 on saves.
The trait “Clever Wordplay” is perfect for this, since cha is usually dumped on witch. You can use int instead of cha on intimidate checks.
whaaaaaat...?!? that's so good

Um, that misses the point. A melee touch attack is a chance of failing - either because you can't get into position, because you miss the attack roll, or because something else like a miss chance interferes. If you're not a hexcrafter magus (or something else with spellstrike and bestow curse) then there's no upside to having to do so. Prehensile hair mitigates this a bit (and adds a standard action to the setup required) but doesn't change the basic problem.
Conditional curse doesn't require an attack roll. It is one spell level higher but that's the only downside.

Although I quoted (a single clause from) your post, I wasn't specifically commenting with regards to your suggestion of Conditional Curse. It was just a suggestion on how to more effectively land a touch attack with 1/2 BAB. The witch has a number of nasty touch spells on her list, so thought it may be of benefit to the OP.
