I had a lawful neutral black dragon named Falameezar once, but that's because I read Spellsinger books on occasion. He was a Marxist, too; everyone pointed out that it's hard for him to relate to the problems with Marxism because he's a freaking dragon and can just force his opinions onto anyone, but everyone else needs to, well, deal with everyone else's wants and needs.

You can always go with something "traditional" like Chrysophylax (look it up). Your players might even get a kick out of it; especially if the dragon in your campaign has a similar personality to the original.
Generally speaking, you can probably use just about any appropriate "monster" name from literature or other media. Of course, you can also have dragon known by a moniker (i.e., "Nightfall"*) instead of their "real" name; this could even be something of a status symbol among dragons that "earn" a name.
*- A name for a black dragon specializing in necromancy spells in one of my campaigns.

One I used in a character's backstory:
Alae'Thal'Othim
"Lightning born from darkness"
He was a silver dragon that served the emperor and recruited individuals to join the imperial army, and while they would operate within the broader military structure, they ultimately answered to the dragon. My own character was a criminal who had been sentenced to the gladiator pits, but had survived for many years. The dragon saw something in him and interrupted that days match to offer a chance to serve in a different way. My character wasn't free, but he got to choose his fate.

I find license plates are a great place to get inspiration for dragon names. That's where I got gems like Svixtorasjiklar and Rorixenjuntar. Another place to start is the Draconic glossary in a couple old 3.5 D&D books, which can get you stuff like Vorelixen and Arjentaurix. Failing that, you can just play with sounds until you get something good, like Varnalek or Estarianthanon.
When using any of these methods, I find it helps to start with a "core" of 2-3 syllables, and then expand it. That's how I got Vorashtalornakar, Kelianthystria, and Valakostralophar.

Marx is a great name for a dragon! The Dragon is the State, and the State owns everything. All the prolatariate are equal in the eyes of the State, extracting from each according to his ability, and giving to each according to his need! The Dragon is the State, and the State is God!
