I would like to put in an "official" request to Paizo's Game Developers to take a bit of time to update the archetypes for the core Barbarian and Monk classes to work with the Unchained versions of these classes. Pathfinder Unchained has been out for some time, and would like to see some love for these new options.

That would be GREAT, thanks for bringing this up.
I'd be happy if they at least showed love to the NEW archetypes for these classes consistently. With that not happening, I don't foresee the old ones getting a 'fix' unless they made a whole new book for them.
the barb archetypes all work with the unchained barb as per the Unchained book (PFS limits it to all archetypes that don't alter rage).
And the monk doesn't work with any of it's old archetypes as per Unchained book (and the devs have said that most monk archetypes were power upgrades to core monk, and unchained is a power upgrade and they don't want the two to stack together)
So you're half way there and that's all you're going to be unless the devs change their minds
