In thread that were flaggeg for a FAQ and have it actually answered it says "answered in FAQ" right at the start.
Quite often this leads to a new search. At least for me it is not evident which book(s) the FAQed rule(s) came from so I start my next search.
Would it be possible to link the "answered in FAQ" line to the relevant FAQ? When one of you guys puts "answered in FAQ" there they know excatly which FAQ they refer to so it would seem to be rather simple to do so.

First of all, I didn't try to be rude. If anyone was offended, I'm very sorry. Please accept my apologies.
I'm a non native speaker and while I try to post properly I still sometimes stumble, especially in social contexts like this one.
Back to the point I was trying to make. I wasn't expecting anyone to have a solution ready, I was merely wondering if there was any feedback whether my suggestion might be implemented at some point in the future or not.

Staff usually take weeks (if not months) to make decisions like this. You seem to be expecting staff to respond within a couple days.
Minor website redesign isn't likely to garner an immediate response, especially since the idea didn't gain a lot of support from other forum members.
Be patient. You may see something in the next site redesign that fixes the problem you raise

It's not impolite to make a suggestion, and depending on how they have things setup they might be able to change code in one place, and have it apply in several places.
Of course if they have to actually do this every FAQ individually I am sure they just won't do it.
I was objecting to the bump, not the request (which I happen to agree with).

Asking staff a question on Saturday, and then impatiently bumping it again on Monday because staff hasn't answered your question yet is easy to read as "rude".
I too, agree with the request. The pushback seems to be about pestering staff (who haven't even been in the office for most of the time period) because they didn't answer his question as soon as they walked into the office Monday morning.
Only three other posts had replies in that time. It's not like there was a chance staff would miss the question when they looked at the forum.

I didnt even notice the dates. I also see bumps more as a way to get the attention of the forum members to see if his idea can get support, more than as him rushing the staff.
However I do see your point if someone is trying to rush Paizo staff to answer.
edit:Reading it again he was looking for feedback from the staff.
In which case you are correct that he needs to be patient and be willing to accept that he might not ever get an answer.

To me "pestering" seems also quite harsh, especially since I did apologize before...
And for a complete picture it was Saturday to Monday but with 10 days in between ;-)
Hehe. That’s why I didn’t mention the timeframe in my comment!
Regardless, best bet is to be patient.

Oops, I apologize for the miscalculation. It was, indeed a week and not just a couple days.
However, the point still stands: Staff often take months to respond to requests, and bumping your post because you're impatient that they haven't yet responded is still not cool.
I don't see anyone being rude or making fun of you here. Relax and wait until staff have time to respond to you. They read everything in this forum. But they respond on their own schedule, not what we think their schedule should be

I get the feeling that you called me out with no real reason and now poke fun at me.
To me that's quite rude.
The reason was that bumping for staff attention is considered rude on these boards. Lack of response to a thread for a non-critical quality of life improvement suggestion is not any sort of indication that your thread has been missed by Paizo. As others have said, they do read them. So bumping isn’t required, and if you do, it looks like you’re waving your hands and shouting “pay attention to me!” Which is impolite.
As for poking fun at you: no. If anything I was poking fun at CrystalSeas for not noticing how long it had actually been (a 3 day bump is way worse than a 10 day one). I knew, which is why my original post was tempered carefully around politeness rather me saying you were being rude, because you weren’t rude, just impolite through not knowing something.
