Crazy vivisectionist build

Rules Questions

This build is crazy but legal (i think)
1. Feral mutagen gives 1d8 bite and 2 1d6 claws.
2. Familiar gives 1d6 bite.
3. Turming into an giant octopus gives 8 1d4 tentackles and 1d6 bite.
4. Be a vivisectionist

If everything works, your attaks should be, assuming a modest 16 Str+4 from mutagen = 20 Str:
Feral mutagen
1d8+5
1d6+5
1d6+5
Familiar
1d4-2
G. Octopus form
1d4+5
1d4+5
1d4+5
1d4+5
1d4+5
1d4+5
1d4+5
1d4+5
1d6+5
Now imagine sneak attack +4d6 on everything, now
1.Nothing says the tumor familiar cant attack while attached.
2.From feral mutagen:
"Benefit: Whenever the alchemist imbibes a mutagen, he gains two claw attacks and a bite attack. These are primary attacks and are made using the alchemist’s full base attack bonus. The claw attacks deal 1d6 points of damage (1d4 if the alchemist is Small) and the bite attack deals 1d8 points of damage (1d6 if the alchemist is Small). While the mutagen is in effect, the alchemist gains a +2 competence bonus on Intimidate skill checks."
3.Sneak attack might not always be on, but you can turn invisible, or use some other method to pull the Sneak attack.

Is this legal?

Oh, and also be a beasmorph, fly at 60(average), and pounce all the time.

Huh? What?

so taking 2 levels of rogue (underground chemist) and the bomb rogue talent will give you back some of your lost bombs and int to splash damage, with keeping a full sneak attack progress. taking 2 more levels and you can also deal sneak attack WITH splash weapons and bombs, so fun for all.

I'm not sure what your class levels are in everything exactly but without hitting the books to hard...

officially you cant use the same limb for a natural attack more than once (i think a gore and a bite might be an exception, not sure). so unless you have two heads, you can only have one bite. octopus tentacles are secondary attacks when you have a bite so they only get half strength and -5 to hit, and transmutation effects do not stack in specific cases; 1) polymorph effects do not stack, 2) size change effects do not stack, so as long as only one effect is polymorph and only one effect changes your size then you can use both abilities.

oh and the tumor absolutely cannot attack while attached. it literally says it only resembles a familiar when not attached, otherwise its a tumor..... but maybe you could make a case to let it unarmed strike??? :) buuut it wwould have a reach of zero and probably provoke anyways because it doesn't have the feat... :D

Ah, i tried, still going to play an Vivisectionist Beastmorph, throught.

Dark Archive

You're probably looking to be a 10th level Vivisectionist x Beastmorph.

For the full breakdown, you'd need the 10th level feature of Beastmorph to get the Fly, Pounce, and your choice of another feature from Beast Shape II. This is not a polymorph effect.

At 10th level, you have access to 4th level Alchemist Extracts, of which include Beast Shape II, which allows for the transformation into a large animal. In this case, a giant octopus. This is a polymorph effect.

You cannot make two attacks with the same natural attack, so the bite of Feral Mutagen is wasted, and this extends to the claws as well. Perhaps you could replace two tentacle attacks with claws for the purposes of bypassing damage resistance, which is definitely a plus. Ask your GM.

I'll say this though: if you turn into a Giant Octopus near water and can reliably sneak attack, it's a great boon. Hope that helps! It's a good combo; I'm playing one myself.
