Assisting another character in creating an item (craft wondrous item)

Advice

So lets say an ally is building an item for me, he doesn't have the construction requirements lets say in this case its Bull Strength, but my character does. I do not have any ranks in spellcraft or anything, could I assist him and save him the cost of gold for not knowing that spell?

Specifically it is in the rules you can cast the spell for them every day, so they don't have to take the +5 DC for not having the spell

If he can make the Spellcraft check at a +5DC, then he doesn't even need the spell, and you don't need to be there, just to emphasize John's point.

perfect ya I was hoping I could help him make a better DC roll to ensure success.

Collaborative item crafting is in the rules. You can have any number of characters provide prerequisites from many sources, including spells from items such as staffs, scrolls or wands, provided you can supply one casting for each day you're working on the item.

Could you either quote or link to those rules for those that are unfamiliar?
