Fillable PDF Character Sheet with Dynamic Linking for Spells

I made this fillable PFD character sheet for easy linking to spell information on the web.

It is a modification of this one, which was based on this one by Neceros.

If you type a spell name in the spell name column, the associated "LINK" text will take you to the spell on d20PFSRD. You can also add a character portrait on the last page. Lot's of calculations are automated, but you should be able to add fudge factors for home rules or unusual circumstances.

Please let me know if something is not working for you.

Very nice. I'll give this a try. from my first testing, it seems to work well.

Cool! I'll have to try it out, Thankies.

Does this need 1-2 more pages for spells?

Dotting, seems quite good!

Maybe, but probably not? I'm counting 89 lines for spells. A 20th level sorcerer has 52 spells known including bloodline spells, and a wizard gets 41+Int free spells in their spellbook, plus cantrips. You could add an extra page in just in case someone plays a high-level wizard with a lot of extra scribed spells, or a prepared divine caster who frequently mixes up their daily spells, but it would probably be overkill for most players.

I don't suppose it's possible to make versions with 0-3 spell pages so people can pick the one that's appropriate for each character without getting a bunch of extra pages?

Thanks for the feedback. I think I will add one more spell page. It would be harder for the typical user to add a page, as each little box on the form needs a unique ID. There are plenty of free online services where you can upload a PDF and remove pages you don't want. I will try to get a new version up tomorrow or the next day.

I tried one of those online pdf splitters before my last post and it messed up the fillable form entries - looked fine until I saved and then half of my sheet disappeared.

However I tried a different site and it seems to be working now. (This one, if anyone else is curious.)

Thanks for your work on this, I'm sure it will be very useful!

Version 1.02, linked in the first post, now has a second full page for spells.

Doesn't seem to work anymore.

Edit: Couldn't make it work through a browser, but when using Foxit reader and allowing javascript it worked perfectly.

Somethings you missed. tiny creatures use dex instead of str for skills.

And you can't change what stat you use for skills. Inquisitors and some other classes can change what ability score is used for its bonuses.

Look very good at first glance. Will check it out more thorough later.
Only thing right now, I usually prefer the character pic on the first page. But that might be just a personal preference.

I wondered why this looked so familiar... The first page is based off of Neceros' fillable PDF. I do agree with Zautos' that if possible, it'd be great if you could make the list of skills have variable ability dependencies, but I realize that's a lot of work.

Also, for the spell section, what are the links for? Is there actually a way to fill in a link from d20PFSRD?

I think he could copy the script from the 6 skills at the bottom

I hope that you will fix the problems I foufound. I have no idea how to make this type of pdf.

It I would think it's an easy thing to fix.

Because you could copy the skills att the bottom. And change the start stat from str to the corwct one.

I'm on the phone now.

The link button opens your browser and takes you to the d20PFSRD page for the spell, so long as the name is entered correctly in the appropriate column.

I don't know what I am doing wrong but I cannot change the stat fields.

Good to have some free fillable sheet stuff out there. ;)

I'm having trouble with this sheet. It seems like the Ability Scores don't automatically update? And I can't edit them. So they're stuck at 0 , -5 until I figure out what's going on.
