They look similar to Sugus candies. I love Sugus candies!
Good morning, Kileanna. Got a bit of insomnia right now, but hopefully it's just temporary.

Those do look similar Indeed. I need to find some sugus now.
Lemon sugus and cherry sugus are awesome.
Pinneaple sugus come on a blue envelope. That has arisen a lot of conspiracy theories. Do people from Sugus think pinneaples are blue. Are they color blind?
Edit: envelope? I think that was not the word I was looking for, right? Envelopes are for sending letters.

I have heard them called envelopes before. My first thought however would of been wrapper.

Gonna try red curry again. Second attempt last time it was too bland the coconut milk neutralized everything. After doing some research I just need some more potent curry paste.
sugus> sugrus>
Be sure you take note of the difference.
I was a bit baffled at first because I kept inserting the 'r'
Oo No, don't eat that!!!
It doesn't seem delicious at all!

Over here in the States everything that is supposed to be raspberry flavored is either wrapped in something blue or is blue colored itself. I can't figure that one out. For instance Raspberry Kool-Aid is blue.
It's because they need the different wrappers to distinguish candy made from similar-colored fruit. Both lemon and pineapple are yellow, so one of the wrappers must not be.

No, it's a conspiracy to make kids think that pineapples are blue!
Or maybe not.
Eh who wants pineapple flavored candy anyways.

*shrugs* Dried Pineapple pieces are candy enough for me.
Today I ate a quarter part of a melon, more or less. With cured ham it is delicious. More than pinneaple candy.

Green melon, we call them toad skin here.
Green, big, and shaped like a football ball (your football, not soccer).
I only have a few minutes of time left on my Hotspot. Will try to post for several hours at a time from my local library from now until Monday. Good night everyone.

Had some homemade spaghetti sauce tonight with some pasta I got on sale. I had never had the style before, Paccheri
I was going to do chicken burgers with some left cuts of chicken that I had spare but they spoiled... So I ended unfreezing some pork loin at the mircrowave, grinding it and making pork burgers. They weren't bad, even if I hate defreezing food at the microwave.
Yeah kind of kills the flavor I think.
It loses almost all the juice and the result is too dry. I added some cream cheese to the patty and in this case a small amount of pork liver pate to keep the meat moist and savory. Some bbq sauce, spices, and the result, despite improvised, was pretty good.
First time making fingered potatoes they are a bit different the i expected. not bad however.
Tried making a cilantro mint chutney. did not turn out well. I added to much water to get it to mix. flavor was odd too.

Add just a bit of cornstarch or wheat flour if it is too watery and it will increase the density, or just lower the heat and let it boil for a bigger time to reduce the ammount of water.
That should fix the water problem.
Always experimenting with new recipes. it does not always go well. however sometimes it goes awesome.
I love experimenting too, I rarely do the same recipe the same way, even if I only change a spice. And making strange fusions is my thing too.
Of course that means I sometimes mess up, but that's the fun part of experimenting.
Two days ago I used the egg white that was left from making the melindres for doing a white bica, which is another traditional Galician recipe:
Same amount of whipping cream, egg white and flour, plus one and a half amount of sugar.
Whip the cream with sugar until it is half whipped, add the flour and mix well. Beat the egg white until stiff and mix it with slow movements to the other mixture. Spread a thin layer of sugar on it and bake. That's all. I love the simplicity of this recipe.
LOl I googled white bica and I got a lawn chair. Now I'm imagining putting what you said in oven and pulling out a lawn chair.
Yeah, because I just half translated it xD
It should be Bica blanca de Laza.
looks like angel food cake. I take it I can't sit on it in my front lawn?
I was always a bit confused for the etymology of the word "bica" which refers in Galicia to a wide variety of sponge cakes that don't use any kind of baking soda or yeast.
Bico in Galician means "kiss" and also "beak" (commonly referred to a mouth too), so I wonder if the origin of the word is there. Bica would mean kissing someone but it might also be referred to as something to take to your beak.

It is more dense than angel food cake, more like a regular sponge, and it has a noticeable cream taste, but it also has the typical moist of angel food cake.
You can sit on it if you want. It is sticky enough to make you regret it, though.
Don't be surprised either if people starts making jokes about your deliciously creamy ass.

Oooh, a good beard and a deliciously creamy ass! You are fortunate! XD
EDIT: Stay away from the nicknames thread because I already know what I would call you! XD
Uh oh. I think I already posted on it tonight...

Definitely not an android.
And definitely not trying to take over the world for our master SkyNet.

Of course you won't, Kileanna. If you wipe out all the humans, there goes the pizza!

She didn't say wipe out all humans. It was "take over the world for our master SkyNet."
Apparently all the time travel interference has resulted in a change of policy from "wipe out" to "enslave and force them to make pizza."
Diabolical!

A failure of programming changed that to "make pizza for them"
Which is really scary xD
Today I will also make homemade burgers for my players.

Didn't want to go out today because I'm still worn out from our trip up north, but I was also currently out of meat, so I had to improvise for dinner and ended up making baked spaghetti which turned out quite well. Makes a nice meatless option for pasta that the kidlet still approves of. :)
And given his current obsession with pasta, more options are a good thing, at least for me so I don't get sick of having the same thing all the time.
