Beginner Box to Full-Fat Pathfinder transition

Advice

My group is looking to transition from Beginner Box pathfinder (with me GM-ing) to the regular game. We're all pretty new to the game, but we've got the beginner rules down more or less. There's a bit of apprehension about the full game, though - I'm not even sure how many extra rules there are, for one!

I was wondering, is there an adventure module that'll take us through the transition comfortably? I'm not going to have time to write adventures in the near future, and the full adventure paths are probably a bit much until we've grasped the game itself. Something which covers the additional rules in an easy-to-grasp way (like the adventure included with the beginner box does) would be fantastic.

In fact, such a product is free.

I would also recommend potentially sticking to the core rulebook and trying Crypt of the Everflame. It's one of the first modules and you will probably see the least variation from the core rules there. Its also part of a trilogy (easily played separately) if you want to continue with those characters.

Alright! Having done my research a tad...

The above product that I linked is explicitly a product that helps teach you the transition from the Beginner Box to full-fledged Pathfinder RPG.

Just in case you're new to how forums work (I'm not sure), I'll be a bit more explicit: <Click these words to see the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Beginner Box Transitions PDF> - you'll be able to download it for free. To be clear, that's a link here, on Paizo.com - not to any other website. If you prefer to search for it yourself, that's fine. Up in the right corner (below the Pathfinder Role Playing Game, Starfinder, Pathfinder Society, and Pathfinder Adventure Card Game logos), you'll find the Search box. Simply look up Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Beginner Box Transitions PDF, and you're good to go. Again, it's a free download - Paizo, the people that make Pathfinder, made it entirely free for us, the players! They're that awesome!

Beyond that, also available here on Paizo.com, are the following PDFs for free:
- We Be Goblins!, We Be Goblins Too!, We Be Goblins Free!, and We B4 Goblins!; these are a set of goofy adventures where you play as goblins! We B4 Goblins is actually a prequel to the other three.
- Risen From the Sands: a free adventure set in the Golarion nation of Osirion! (Basically, Golarion is the world/setting that Pathfinder products take place in, and Osirion is the "fantasy Egypt" of that setting.) This can be (optionally) run for the Mummy's Mask adventure path, but it can also be run on its own.
- Dawn of the Scarlet Sun: a free adventure that can be (optionally) integrated into the Shattered Star AP; it's set in the Varisian city of Magnamar and is for fifth-level characters.
- Master of the Fallen Fortress: a free adventure that is supposed to be run for 1st level characters. It takes place outside of the the city of Absalom - kind of Golarion's "center of the world" city.
- Uncharted Isles is a free third-party (non-Paizo) PDF that gives a bunch of short descriptions about tropical islands.
- Shadowed Keep of the Borderlands: a free PDF (though it costs money for the solid versions) with solid reviews; I've not tried it myself, but, hey, it's free!

Anyway, if you Search "pdf FREE" it generates fifteen pages of things available for free on this site.

As to other adventures, the Paizo Modules are an interesting set of various one- or two-shot adventures.

Hope that helps! :D

Thanks! That looks really useful, just a shame it doesn't come with a transition adventure. Still, I reckon a good read of that is definitely my first stop!

Free is always good! Some of those look great, I'll have to have a browse and see if I can find out the beginner friendly stuff.

That sounds potentially perfect, actually!
