In the process of retooling Darya now but here's her background

Spoiler:

Born to a much respected priestess of Sarenrae months after her Paladin father fell in battle, Darya was raised in Kenebres, surrounded by the ongoing intensity of the battle against the Worldwound.

Raised by her mother, whose meteoric rise within the church was exceeded only by her wisdom, she was grounded in the realities of good and evil from an early age. Unfortunately, this morality was accompanied by an intense capacity for wrath, an emotion easily invoked by injustice or unfairness. When at the age of 8 she brutally beat 3 older boys who were tormenting a half-orc girl, the decision was made to train her for combat in the hopes of giving her an outlet for her rages.

As she grew into a young woman, the strategy seemed to work. Most of the time she was a delight to be around, the darling of the crusade, albeit one that none of the younger trainees relished sparring with. Yet for those close to her, her teachers and weapons masters, there was always a tinge of awe mixed with fear at the sheer unrelenting capacity for violence she could bring to bear, sometimes getting carried away when sparring, especially after being hit.

She struggled with her emotions, believing herself a failure in her lack of holding to Sarenrae’s virtues of compassion and peace. Feeling the need to come to terms with her perceived shortcomings, the young warrior took a leave, taking a sojourn of self searching that would change her life.

In her travels she would at one point come to spend time at a roadside tavern where she encountered a beautiful green haired elven woman named Jerribeth who struck her fancy. The two talked and laughed well into the night until Darya's head began to spin, perhaps from too much drink, and everything faded to black.

As fate would have it, Jerribeth was a worker of dark forces who, upon immediately recognizing Darya's heaven-touched nature, found her a perfect candidate for some dark ritual.

Drugged and in a haze, Darya remembers little of the ritual, save a few other of the intended victims, who possessed an inner rage much like her own, kindred spirits. In some strange manner, their joint fury was able to somehow twist the ritual, stealing the dark power conjured for their own allowing them to break free and fight their way to escape in the ensuing chaos. They made a pact to remain friends, encountering each other numerous times since then, coming to each other's aid when needed.

It was on that night, free and away from the cultists that Darya knelt to give thanks to Sarenrae and felt a different presence. One that was intense and magnificent, a roaring furnace of holy power yearning for the opportunity to destroy evil wherever it lay. In that moment Darya found her purpose, taking up the banner of Ragathiel, his fire and fury filling her soul.

This is Mark by the way.

Would it be alright to play a tielfing paladin of Shelyn, who is the godling daughter of Shelyn?

She's from Jalmeray, so she knows Vudrani, but also she was raised by a half-elven paladin, so she knows Elven too. However, the problem is she'll only get one bonus language. Would it be alright to have two, even though that's one more than she should get, please?

Also, and this will determine if I'll be playing this character, as I plan to take the Squire feat when I reach level 4:

Squire Feat. Beware the wall of text!:

You attract a squire to aid you in your knightly endeavors.

Prerequisites: Character level 4th, proficient with all
martial weapons.

Benefits: This feat acts similarly to the Leadership feat, with several exceptions . You can only attract a 1st-level cohort (referred to hereafter as a squire) with this feat, and cannot recruit followers until you have the Leadership feat. You determine your Leadership score according to the rules presented in the Leadership feat, but your squire is always at least three or more levels lower than yourself.

A squire can only take levels in a class that grants proficiency with all martial weapons as a class feature, such as paladin, gunslinger, cavalier, or fighter. She cannot multiclass, though she may take any archetype she qualifies for, including those from the following "Squire Archetypes" section.

If a squire gains enough XP to bring her to two levels lower than your level, the squire does not gain the new level until you gain your next level-until then her new XP total is 1 less than the amount needed to attain the next level and she gains no additional XP until you advance. If you release your squire from service, you may gain a new one by scouting for potential candidates in a city or large town where members of your knightly order can typically be found, which requires at least 24 hours of uninterrupted scouting. This act can also replace a squire who has perished.

Graduation: When you reach 7th level, this feat automatically upgrade s to the Leadership feat (meaning that you effectively lose this feat and replace it with Leadership). You gain all the normal benefit s of the Leadership feat, except that your squire must remain at least three levels lower than you and must continue to take levels in her first class. In order for your squire to be able to be two levels lower than you, your squire must be at least 4th level, and you must witness her as she single-handedly defeats a creature with Hit Dice equal to or greater than her own. Upon the creature's defeat, your squire graduates to full knighthood and acts as a normal cohort; she may begin taking levels in other classes if she so chooses, and she may increase in level to up to two levels lower than yourself.

Quick question regarding HP. Is it maximum HP at first level?

Liberty's Edge

How many people are you looking at running this game for? Are you planning on going through the whole AP?

@Ik-Ha-Thruun: Playing characters will start at level 1 and end at level 20, maxed on Mythic power.

@Arloric Dziergas-Highbough: Normally, yes. You do start at level 1 with maximum HP, but for you, that is not the case. You only get 2.

-Just kidding!

@Phoebee: Do I want to run the whole AP from start to finish? Yes.

And what about Red-Branch, who starts with 2 HD (d8)?

How many players and when are you looking to start?

Could I swap Faith with Religion for the trait?

This is very fitting

A Shining Beacon(Religion)
You carry a burning hatred in your heart for all things demonic, and have studied their weaknesses carefully.

Benefit(s) You deal an amount of additional damage equal to your weapon's critical hit modifier when you score a successful critical hit with a weapon against a demon. This damage is added only after the damage is totaled, and is not multiplied by the critical hit multiplier.

Dotting - and bouncing around in huge amounts of excitement! I love WotR!!!

Quick question - how are you ruling psychic casters as interacting with mythic? I like occult a lot but there's no mythic path for them - I always think the simplest thing is just to allow them to take Archmage and change the word 'arcane' for 'psychic' whenever appropriate. Would this be ok or a problem? :)

Since it looks like we have quite a few honoring Ragathiel I'll just throw this up here. Found it a while back:

Ragathiel's Code of Conduct

Followers of Ragathiel are forthright in their intentions and desires, which is to vanquish evil whenever it shows its face. They fight until their last breathe and strive to protect all that would be tainted by evil. Ragathiel is often referred to as the General of Vengence, and as such many of his followers find themselves in leadership roles. Their tenets follow:

I will strike hard and fast against all evil that shows itself to me.

I will do all in my power to root out evil where it may hide. I will however not assume evil exists, and not strike down a creature until its evil has been proven without a doubt.

I am always striving to control myself in the face of temptation and baser urges. When desires well up within myself that do not honor Ragathiel, I will battle with myself to ensure I remain strong.

Without honorable allies, evil will prevail. I am always willing to accept those who wish to follow me into the fight against evil, even if they appear to be unlikely allies.

In the most desperate of times, I will accept help from those who are not honorable when the result will allow a far greater evil to be vanquished. Once my goal has been accomplished, I will then disavow any allegiance to the creature.

I will know the tools with which I battle evil. Every latch on my armor, every notch in my sword, and the weight of my boots; they are my family, my body, my soul.

Waves back

Retooled Darya is complete. Dropped oaths and will go as Warrior of Holy Light (Which manifests as golden flames) so will essentially be vanilla Paladin until level 4.

Description:

Darya

Darya is stunning to say the least. Taller and more powerfully built than most women, she frame is lined with sleek muscle from years of training with weapons, her skin surprisingly without a single blemish or scar, practically impossible for a warrior. Her flaming red hair fans out like fire around her a sharp contrast to her skin that while tanned, carries a slightly golden tinge as well as if she were constantly in the light of the setting sun.

Those who would have the opportunity so see her undressed would see the tattoo taking up the majority of her back, six skillfully done wings, spanning from her shoulder-blades to the small of her back, five of them a blazing red, while the upper left is black.

Well, my interest has been piqued.

Are Tieflings & Aasimars allowed to take Variant Heritages/Abilities?

Thinking of playing an Achivist Bard. Buffs and knowledge checks. I'll post a character sheet and stuff later today.

Scarab Sages

@asmodina When are you looking to close applications and start picking?

Ragathiel is one of my favorite of the gods/divine beings in Golarion.

Silver Crusade

I've got a concept I've been wanting to try: A tiefling sorcerer with the wildblooded Empyreal bloodline. Her ancestry is... complicated.

Some minor revisions and updates.

Aberus Ocellio, CG Human (Taldan) cleric of Sarenrae

Planning on staying a straight cleric unless something significant were to happen that would inspire him to make a change.

Going with these traits:

Touched by Divinity (Sarenrae) - He was raised in the church of Iomedae, but he was really meant to be a cleric of Sarenrae. It took some ugliness to show him the way.

Grief-Filled - Dad was sent to die, or so he believes.

Disdainful Defender - Seems natural since he rejected the faith he was raised in.

Courageous - When life serves you lemons, you make lemon meringue angel cake. Or maybe frozen lemon mousse. Or maybe lemon souffle pudding cake. THERE'S NO WRONG ANSWER HERE, PEOPLE.

Slightly less choppy background:

Aberus was born in Nerosyan, and like most who lived there he was raised in the church of Iomedae. His parents, Laenus and Statia, were devout followers but it was the evolution of his father's faith that had the greatest influence on him. Inspired by the church's tireless fight against the demonic incursions from the Worldwound, and Iomadae's own ascension from mortality, his father gradually assumed a more active and direct role in the church's efforts, eventually training to take up arms. When Aberus was 12 years old his father joined the Fourth Crusade as a paladin of his goddess.

Aberus's world, and his faith, collapsed when his father did not return from his first incursion into the Worldwound. The next several years added hardship to grief with only Statia's meager income to support them. Both he and his mother felt betrayed and then abandoned by the church, and blamed it for sending Tetus into a battle for which he had been ill-prepared. They turned away from Iomedae and never returned.

While Statia would eventually reject all religion, Aberus felt an emptiness and loss that he could not fill without faith, and a chance encounter with a cleric of Sarenrae set him on a new path. The more time he spent in her church, the more he understood that this was where he belonged: the path to her church had always been there, he had just not been able to see it before.

Despite what had happened to his father, he still felt a pull to the Crusades against the Worldwound. It was not right to turn away from that fight just because it had claimed Tetus's life, and Iomedae was not necessarily at fault for her church's failings: it was just that the clergy in Nerosyan was overzealous and lacked guidance. Too many of its elders had a direct role in the struggle, and not enough were at home instilling a responsible approach to the same. As a cleric of Sarenrae, he felt he could help the next Crusade by offering some temperance, and a compassion for the soldiers that Iomedae's clergy often lacked. And, of course, he could provide some much-needed healing in the hopes that it might save the life of someone else's mother or father.

While his anger at the church of Iomedae has faded, there is a lingering bitterness that will always be there.

(These are a new thing for me, so bear with me.)

- Loyal to Sarenrae
- Always helps others in need, especially those who have gotten in over their heads
- The demonic invasion must be stopped (but not necessarily at any price)

Two quick questions: you mentioned only classes from Core, UC, UM and APG are allowed. Does this extend to feats and archetypes? (Specifically, I have an Arcane Duelist build in mind which relies on the availability of Slashing Grace to click properly, which unfortunately can be found on the Advanced Class Guide.)

Secondly. Background Skills. Would you consider allowing them? (I get it if you wouldn't, as it would cheapen the investment into Profession (soldier) by giving it away basically for free.)

@Arloric Dziergas-Highbough: Yes. Full.

@Caleb D'natin: At least four, and I am not certain when I would start. This thread was just to see if I'd find anyone interested in participating. And, I also have to learn how to set up campaigns on this site.

@Everyone: Thanks for the character sheets and posts about your ideas, but please stop posting them here. This thread was just to see if there would be an interest in Wrath of the Righteous. It's a fun adventure and I'm going to pick players in PERHAPS an unorthodox way. What I am going to do is flip the thread to an IC thread sometime this week and let PCs meet and greet before I'll make my selections. I'll watch how you write and I will be on the look out for chemistry between characters Knowing grammar is not the point, because I'm terrible at it (I use programs and books to help me just make complete sentences!). What I want is more than just prattling off an action in one mediocre sentence followed by the code for rolling dice. Instead, try to making your characters count with each post. I'm going to do my best to describe the settings and scenes too.

About Asmodina...
She sprang up from this idea of me role-playing as a succubus as the actual GM to the adventure. It's a bit meta but it's something I still may do because it would be fun teasing and badgering you the players. However, you may be disappointed to learn that I am man and not a woman. I'd like to say that I am not pretending to be a woman, but......uh,.....yeah. That would be a lie. Lastly, I -might- post drunk. I like wine, and I am starting at the very tip of learning to brew beer. I'm a newbie brewer.

Maybe an online blog / journal / diary for each character would be worthwhile. Where would one go to make a blog / journal / diary for a character? (Don't do this yet! Just PM me suggestions)

1. I totally forgot to add the Advanced Class Guide to the list. Players have already asked, but it's my fault not including it. As for the list of books I posted, yeah! Everything in those books, including the ACG, totally counts. Read the Player's Guide and create a character that you like using them.

2. Background skills? I know about them and I am very fond of using them, but to my understanding, they're a game changer in how skills are used. The table top group was not fond of them. If the chosen players want to do it that way, then the changes can be done easily. You see, I may have a way the game should run. However, I know that allowing the players some part in how the game runs will keep them interested in it.

Thanks for the questions!

Whoops!

Another question lost in the flood of posts, and I am glad I've found it. It is a keeper! The answer to your question Dragoncat is a much resounding -YES! I do own the Advanced Race Guide and the Inner Sea Races books, and both should be included in the list. I'm sorry I forgot about them. Just remember that all their content is viable for use.

Aw crap, we can play with the ACG? :3

Would you allow the Id Rager archetype for Bloodragers?

Aww, man. Knowing the ACG and full ARG are available may completely change my ideas. I had been thinking a Warpriest would be nice. Dang.

Definitely interested if still available spacing?

Should I develop a character for perusal?

I am thinking--off the top of my head--an 1/2 elf witch or oracle.

I am getting an idea of a former citizen being hunted before the assault, but has since taken a personal cause to prove his innocence.

I shall begin creating it just for fun....

Thanks for the reply. :)

I'm pondering building an aasimar rogue and going for the Arcane Trickster prestige class...

Arloric's sheet is complete for consideration! Lemme know if my math is correct.

As far as why he's in Kenabres, well...it's his home. He's grown up in Truestone Park with his uncle, drilled with the crusaders and he's as ready to stand and fight as any paladin.

And here's his Ten-Minute Background!

Character Concept and Background:
1. Arloric is a druid follower of the Green Faith and assistant groundskeeper for Truestone Park in the city of Kenabres.

2. Physically Arloric is a tall, strapping young man, with stern Kellid features and dark red hair, and his beard is just beginning to come in. He wears an eyepatch over his left eye not because it's damaged but to disguise its seemingly demonic appearance. His right eye is sky-blue indicating the favor of the spirits, but his left eye is black with a golden iris.

3. Arloric was born on a farmstead outside of Kenabres, which was raided by demoniac cultists when he was just a child. His parents were slain before his eyes, and he was brought to an unholy site of theirs to be used in a dark rite. The rite was interrupted by his uncle, the druid Crocris, and the Prelate of Kenabres, Hulrun Shappok, but not before it transformed his left eye and left a dark fury in his soul.

4. The descendant of Sarkorian refugees, and in fact descended from the legendary warlord Uloric Dziergas himself, Arloric has trained himself to fight when he isn't tending the park, hoping to one day join the crusaders out in the Worldwound to battle the demons there and maybe reclaim some small part of what was once Sarkoris for his people.

5. Arloric feels great comfort around growing things, and can be seen tending the Park, rain or shine. He seems to draw as much life from the gentle warmth of the sun as he thrills at the crack of lightning and roll of thunder. Some stormy days he and his megaloceros, Red-Branch, will run in the wilds outside the city like the day they first met.

Goals:
1. Arloric's greatest dream, which he's held since he was a boy, is to heal the Worldwound once and for all and build a new Sarkoris from its ruins.

2. As Arloric advances in Mythic Tiers, I plan on having him take Divine Source several times, so I think it'd be pretty cool for him to find the descendants of Sarkorian refugees and some of the crusaders alike rallying to him as Golarion's newest god. I do plan on taking the Apotheosis story feat to reflect this, as well.

Secrets:
1. Though Arloric is greatly embarrassed by it, he has quite the crush on Crusader Queen Galfrey.

2. Arloric is no longer truly human. The infusion of Abyssal energies he was subjected to in the dark rite he'd been kidnapped for has transformed him into what can only be described as a tiefling.

Contacts:
1. Crocris, the half-elf druid who tends Kenabres' Truestone Park, is Arloric's uncle and foster-father after Aloric lost his parents to the cult that attempted to use him in the dark rite. He led the charge to save Arloric, protected him from Prelate Hulrun's wrath, and taught him how to understand the cycles of the world and the wonders of nature. He can interpret old Sarkorian artifacts and druidic lore, and there's always a place at his hearth and table for Arloric.

2. Though the day-to-day affairs of the city take up most of his time, Hulrun Shappok, the Prelate of Kenabres, remains suspicious of demonic taint in Arloric since Crocris persuaded him to spare the lad after the rite had been stopped and the demoniac cultists scattered. As Arloric has proven sincere loyalty to Kenabres and Mendev ever since, Hulrun knows not to send his witch-hunters to bother the pair, lest he give them an actual reason to betray the city, but the old inquisitor's faith in Iomedae makes it hard for him to abide the strange old ways Crocris insisted on teaching Arloric. Should Arloric show sufficient respect to Iomedae and service to the city, Hulrun may soften and offer Arloric limited access to the resources of his witch-hunters.

3. Most crusaders regard Arloric with a disdainful sneer, as they're wont to do to the descendants of the "heathen" refugees. One exception to this has been an older knight named Dame Taldakia, a paladin of Iomedae. A member of the Eagle Watch, she was a member of the posse of crusaders who helped Crocris save Arloric as a child. As Arloric has sought to never be defenseless again, he came to Taldakia shortly afterwards, begging to be taught how to fight. Initially, she was reluctant, especially since Crocris was a friend and she didn't want to exert an undue influence on the lad when Crocris was already teaching Arloric the druidic ways. This refusal soured Arloric to the crusaders for several years until he met his animal companion, Red-Branch. Impressed with his courage and seeing his heart would be in the right place no matter his path, Taldakia started letting Arloric drill with her squires and he quickly became a competent swordsman. Taldakia still spars with him to keep his skills sharp, and is always willing to offer advice on right and wrong the Green Faith's beliefs can't answer.

Memories:
1. Arloric still has nightmares about the demonic cult that had captured him and the dark rite they subjected him to. They had struck his family's farmstead, just outside Kenabres, in the dead of night. He remembers his mother screaming for him to hide while his father attempted to fend them off outside. He remembers his mother valiantly trying to protect him with her own blade before watching her cut down before him. He remembers the strange man, clad in red robes, grabbing him and dragging him by his hair as his home burned behind him. The rest is mostly a blur, the shock of losing his family so quickly drowning out everything else until the ritual began. He recalls the droning chants and the intense pain when the magic first flared up, and as it twisted his body. The next parts are more pleasant. The chanting interrupted by another note, the horns of crusading heroes, the druidic chants of his uncle Crocris intertwined with an Iomedean battle-hymn, the pain abating as the cultists broke ranks and the rite stopped. No other even in Arloric's life has affected him so profoundly, and even today he still struggles to understand and cope with what it's done to him.

2. One of Arloric's more pleasant memories was when he first saw Crusader Queen Galfrey, back when he was a teenager. Galfrey had come to Kenabres on one of her regular tours of Mendev's defenses along the border. The Prelate had arranged for a grand celebration to greet her, and Arloric was eager to push and jostle through the crowd to get a chance to see the holy monarch. When she rode through the city, armor glittering in the sun and a stern, yet gentle look on her face, Arloric was immediately smitten. Any other time Queen Galfrey has come to Kenabres, Arloric has made sure to be in the audience, which earns him no small amount of ribbing from his friends.

3. One of Arloric's proudest moments was when he first met Red-Branch. He recalls he had been arguing with Crocris about how some crusader had treated him or something, and Arloric had stormed away from Truestone Park in a fit of pique. He'd walked through Kenabres and out the northern gate through the Crusaders' Camps, when he'd heard whoops and dogs baying, as if someone was hunting. He got a closer look and saw some low templars chasing a majestic stag, while dark clouds began rolling in. Arloric could tell from the massive rack of antlers that it was more than an ordinary stag, but a megaloceros. It began to rain as the chase continued. He watched in shock as one templar's spear caught it in the flank, but instead of running, the great beast turned and charged at the man, goring him on his antlers. The templar was killed instantly, and a clap of thunder rang out overhead. The shock of seeing this and the growing storm made the others realize their game might not be worth the effort, calling off their dogs and fleeing. Arloric approached the megaloceros and was surprised as it stared at him but didn't react. He tended to the beast's injury and prepared to return the templar's body to his fellows, as custom required, and was surprised when the stag began to follow him. He smirked a bit as he returned to the Crusaders' Camp with the stag in tow, as it scared the low templars as he returned their fallen comrade, and snuffed aggressively at the guards when they refused to let it through the gates. When he returned to the Park, Crocris was stunned at the stag's arrival and even more at Arloric's tale. He called the stag Red-Branch, as his bloodied antlers looked like the branches of a great tree.

Loyalties:
1. As a druid, Arloric's first loyalty is, naturally, to the tenets of the Green Faith and the will of nature.

2. Arloric is one of the last keepers of lost Sarkoris' culture and traditions, and one of his dreams is to purify his ancestral homeland of the demons that corrupted and despoiled it.

3. One of Sarkoris' oldest and most sacred traditions is loyalty to clan and kin, and Arloric deeply respects these bonds, whether to those of his blood like his uncle, Crocris, or those whom he's shed blood with on the field of battle.

Thinking battle Oracle.
Figure it would fit with crusades. He may be pretending to be a paly, hiding his being an Oracle, because of the persecutions.
He is NG. Totally play up his good side wanting to just help people.
He also wants to be able to live openly in his homeland.

Will work up alias tomorrow.

...or metal mystery....sounds fun.

Also, are we allowed to use Unchained classes if we wish? Such as using the Unchained Rogue instead of the Core Rulebook Rogue?

Variant Ability: Aasimar!:
1d100 ⇒ 7: Gain DR 2/evil instead of spell-like ability!

Hazzah! ACG is open! Man I was having such a hard time coming up with an interesting character, but having ACG open allows me to present a Bloodrager I've been tooling around with for a while. I'm looking at Celestial bloodline. Question on that, though. Would you allow the Urban Bloodrager archetype from Heroees of the streets? It's pretty minimal changes to class abilities, and really suits the character well.

Edit: Actually, I'm reconsidering the archetype. May go with Steelblood instead. I'll try to post an outline for the character here in the next day or two!

@Nazz of Dyinglight: That's from a book that is missing from my library, isn't it? If it's from Occult Origins is a book I do not have. All the books I am approving are books that I have because I hate reading from a screen. My eyes, cross.

@Dorian 'Grey': Just looking for interest, so yeah!

@Dragoncat: Yes!

@Asmodina - did you see my PM about a redemption themed Oracle/Evangelist of Desna? :)

GM: question regarding the Mythic feat Dual Path. Obviously we can only take the one campaign trait. Will we still be able to Dual Path? Let's say I take Touched by Divinity, which is associated with the Hierophant path. Can I still take Dual Path and, say, Champion?

I would suspect yes, but I want to be sure.

I'd like to know that as well. I may be starting in Champion but I plan on Dual-Pathing into Hierophant, which has many more druid-appropriate stuff. I'm only starting in Champion because I'm taking the Stolen Fury trait, and I'm only doing that because Touched By Divinity, the trait associated with Hierophant, doesn't work for Arloric as he doesn't worship an actual deity.

Incidentally will there be an announcement to when this IC audition begins?

I would be interested.

gosh... so many other applicants... hope you still need a super-tank... meat shield at least

@Ouachitonian & Arloric Dziergas-Highbough: You suspect correctly. The one thing everyone needs to understand is that nobody gets their mythic powers until the very end of the first module. Second, each trait is tied to a mythic path. If your path and trait line up at the end of the World Wound Incursion then a chunk of bonuses are given.

@ Arloric Dziergas-Highbough: This week, and it will come without warning! Be ready!

@Dragz Titanhammer: Choosing characters by their classes and stats feels silly to me so I am going to use a different method. Get your character sheet ready.

Well, Dragz is done... unless you want an awesome full-on backstory. i could do that :)

Currently working on my rogue's backstory right now. The stats can wait for a bit. :)

Incidentally, I have some prior experience with this AP. Our party got near the end of the second module before Real Life brought it to a halt... ):

1 person marked this as a favorite.

i desided to make an epic backstory.

here's the part I'm submitting. for the recruitment.

backstory(work in progress):
Dragz was born to an orc mother and raised by his human father. His father was a hard man, and he delivered punishment without mercy. Dragz quickly developed a hate for tyrants. Dragz father was a soldier in the city-state of his long-forgotten home. he started to train Dragz at an early age how to use weapons. Dragz wasn't superbly strong, but he was rather resilient. he developed a personalized style of becoming a standing fortress of solid muscle. one day, when Dragz's father was away, he was kidnapped in the night by demon cultists. Unfortunately their ritual failed, and instead infused Dragz with its power. He killed them all.
Now alone in the wilderness, Dragz survived for a year. He was found by a group of wandering Barbarians in the worldwound, covered in the furs and bones of the wild animals he had killed. They took him in and trained Dragz in the ways of the barbarian. from them he learned of compassion. But soon, even with the new friends and home, Dragz could never fit in. The strange powers within him drew him closer and closer to the worldwound. he left the barbarian tribe and headed off to his destiny.

BTW: any who also have the stolen fury trait... I'd like to discuss the details of the ritual... seeing that it could have been the same ritual for both of us :)

I think my questions got lost as well :(
