Charisma based caster using Druid spell list?

Is there a class that uses charisma for spellcasting, and uses the Druid spell list?

I'm looking for something similar to how a Sorcerer uses charisma and uses wizard spell list, and the Oracle uses charisma and uses the Cleric spell list.

Feyspeaker druid uses Charisma.

Feyspeaker gets you prepared charisma-based casting and more skills in exchange for 1/2 BAB and slower Wildshape progression.

I think it's the Fey Trickster Mesmerist that gets spontaneous charisma-based casting using the Hunter list, which includes the Druid list 6th and below, with some early-access spells.

Yep.

For the Mesmerist, the Fey Spell Lore and Fey Spell Versatility Feats are both kinda necessary. And, luckily, available.

But Feyspeaker sounds like what's being looked for.

Hey Coinshot Colton:

The Nature Oracle immediately came to mind, but it's only druid-themed and casts from the oracle's spell list. It's divine like the druid too.

There's also the option of a fey bloodline sorcerer. They add some druid spells to their arcane spell list. The wildblooded alternate of the fey bloodline (sylvan bloodline) snags you an animal companion.

Hopefully that was somewhat helpful. Cheers, Mate!

The OP's looking for something like the oracle or sorcerer. The Feyspeaker isn't.

It's also a really horrible archetype that nobody should ever take. It trades all of the druids good abilities for 2 skill points, a casting swap that should be fair in and of itself, some delayed access to not very good spells, and the ability to play pranks with hungry animals.

As bad as the Feyspeaker is, that'll do the job. Thanks all :)

Hey there!

If you are OK with non Paizo material, might I suggest checking out the Shaman class in the New Paths Compendium from Kobold Press

The New Paths Shaman might be just what you're looking for - it's exactly what you describe!

You can read a little more about the genesis of the class here:
Designing the Shaman

There are 2 different things that the sorcerer does differently from wizard. One is change the casting stat, the other is to change to spontaneous casting instead of prepared. Fey Speaker changes your casting stat, and Hunter (Hybrid class) cast's druid spells spontaneously.

Ask your GM to let you use a nature oracle but with the druid list instead of cleric? And get automatic summon nature's ally instead of cure or inflict.

Keep in mind that most people use the metrics of dpr or magic overkill to grade archetypes. For the kind of campaign that Ultimate Intrigue is aimed at, the Feyspeaker is an excellent road to walk. And I'm looking forward to making some interesting NPC's with it.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Hrm. I suppose I could use Feyspeaker to make a solid Druid Lich. And go for the Shadow Spells to steal most any 2 level lower sorc/wizard spell I want... hrrrm
