Does everyone get rostered on to some booth/stall/etcetera over the weekend?

It's not like the hotel is a big spread out convention like GenCon. You will absolutely be able to spot us in our blue Paizo shirts. Many of us might be running from place to place to take care of things or make it to our next panel or game, but we're around on site all weekend. Make sure you say "hi" to me when you see me. I like meeting the fans, especially ones that have been around for a long time and are good folks.

Hey Adam, I am bringing my wife this year so you will finally be able to meet her!.

Mostly, yes, but Adam Daigle is a special case. He looks much more like a praying mantis for some reason.

Many of them take a turn at DM'ing a delve... a short 20 minute neigh-impossible Pathfinder encounter. Always fun, and easy to squeeze into your day. (Just show up, you can usually find a time when you just have to wait for a group to finish)

Last year they did man a table for signing and mingling... don't know if they are doing that again.

You will see them all con as you move about. (it's a small area)

If you do the banquet you'll be able to sit with a staff member (first come first seated.)

Oh, boy. I loved the Crayon of Vecna event last year, but I also really want to make it to the Horror Roleplaying panel. Marrrrgh. :I

KnowDirection podcast records many of the sessions. I'll usually pick the session that you have to be there for, over the one that I might be able to listen to later. They aren't able to catch them all though.

Cheers. I'm looking forward to the banquet plus the various "what's coming next" seminars. No sitting at home continually refreshing the messageboards for me this year! :)

Cheers. I've booked into a few of the seminars. But I'm also meaning people like the warehouse crew and CS staff. (Will never answers my emails, so he'll have to take a compliment face to face. :p)

We'll be around. You'll definitely meet CS as we will be manning the registration table where you'll pick up your badge (so will a bunch of other folks from many departments). You can also find CS in the store throughout the day. As Adam mentioned, we will all be wearing blue Paizo shirts, so we will be easy to spot anywhere you go.

It's going to be a very slow con this year...

Caio, there is a warhorn link somewhere for extra PFS games during the afternoon slots. Or come help me run my lottery game on Friday afternoon buddy.

FWIW, the warhorn link *may* be the place for the afternoon slots - I'm investigating/offering it with the VL in charge. Often here they do signups at the start of a con instead of prior.

This is "by design" and was discussed exhaustively last year in these threads. There are afternoon games via warhorn to try to pick up the slack.

My suggestion to Paizo is to confirm your local Seattle Lodge is helping out arrange those. That's what it's there for!

Can someone please link to wherever the afternoon games are being coordinated? I searched Warhorn and found nothing.

Just out of curiosity ... what the heck is 'Warhorn'?

SURE!

Warhorn is a game organization site where we can schedule tables. It's used for small and large events alike.

For those who are asking, one of my VLs is currently getting a volunteer list together for the afternoon slots, and will hopefully be able to get some mid-day PFS games onto the schedule soon. Part of the delay was people waiting to find out if they got into afternoon lottery events. :)

Grand Lodge

Since I have some afternoons open, I might be interested. Or I might nap. Will have to see.

Ok, there are 7 people who are in serpent's ire that won't see it displayed on their events page. The system appears to be counting them in the total number of attendees. The tech team found what they are pretty sure caused it and it appears to not be affecting any additional people signing up. The bug means that for those 7 people, the button does not do anything (but please do not keep clicking it). Tech team is working on getting the data causing the issue back into the state it needs to be so it will display correctly on your events schedule.
Any way for the 7 to get notice of who we are so we can confirm? I believe I may be one of the seven.

Re-posting this question for Sara Marie, so I can verify my son got in, since it's still not showing on his schedule. His forum tag is Simeon, if that's how you track them. Thank you.

Lovely.

Are you going to use the same Warhorn as the pre/post gaming or something different?

It sounds like they'll be using the Open Enrollment here on Paizo, as soon as they line up the volunteers.

Happy to provide the warhorn as backup of course.

Games need to be scheduled through paizo.com if they are public. This year, Seattle VL Louis Manko Levite is coordinating the mid-slot PFS games.  We are listing them on http://paizo.com so that folks can see their entire schedule in one place.  However, I wanted to wait until after the lottery had been run and open registration had begun to make sure folks GMing for those games had a chance to see the rest of the schedule before making that choice. Since not all attendees know about Warhorn or may wish to create an account on a 3rd party’s website, and so we ensure there is plenty of space in the PFS hall, anyone running a pre-planned, mid-slot (1pm-6pm) PFS game should coordinate with our Seattle VL.  Anyone looking for a mid-slot game should check out the offerings on paizo.com.

Gotcha. But for pre and post Con games should we still use Warhorn?

I am probably having a Gross Conceptual Error, but when I enter paizo.com all I'm getting is the blog post for Hypercorps 2099?

Is there another place I should be looking?

Thank you for your time and patience in advance!

Lantern Lodge Customer Service Manager

We have not yet uploaded these mid slot games yet. When we do, they should appear on paizo.com/paizocon/events with the rest of the PaizoCon events.

cheers!

Once the convention starts, you can also stop by PFS HQ and put a paper sign up on the Looking For Group board or peruse the offerings for mid slots.

Is anyone else having trouble with the trading system? I keep putting up one of my events for a trade, and every time I come back it is no longer listed (this has happened about 2 or 3 times). Am I misunderstanding the system?

I'm having the same issue! I actually started a thread on this topic and Sara Marie said she's asked the Tech Team to look into it ...

So is anyone still having problems with signing up for Serpents Ire on Sunday night. I have tried to add it to my schedule a couple times and it still isn't working. Any news on this would be great.

Thanks so much in advance for the help.

Reposting for Sara Marie to answer, please: those of us affected have been asking for a couple of days now. I would really appreciate confirmation on who's in this Special Seven, so I know for sure that my son is in the game. You can post user names here, email everyone, PM us all, whatever works best for you - but it would be very nice to know for sure before the weekend, as I'd hate for the special to fill up as sign-ups trickle in and then learn that my kid doesn't have a seat.

As an FYI, Sara Marie, I am still in this boat as well.

Liberty's Edge

Just noticed in the Event Trading list, someone has the Future of Paizo listed as an event to trade? That feels like a mistake ... the Future of Paizo is an open seminar with seats still available. Why would the system allow someone to trade something that people can just sign up for on their own?

Grand Lodge

So that people can make trades with friends without having to give up a lottery event. My wife got into Liz Courts game one year and traded it to me as I had not. If we couldn't have traded open events, I would have been unable to do that. This does mean that people can offer trades that don't make sense to take, so you should be careful to know what you are doing before accepting a trade.

Liberty's Edge

Huh ... OK, I hadn't thought of that ...

Fair enough!

Hey folks, our tech team figured out why the issue with Serpent's Ire was occurring for some folks. Gary is adjusting the needed data manually and then we refresh the site and folks who haven't been seeing it on their schedule should. I'lll let you know when the site has been refreshed (ETA is currently by the end of today), however, you may see it added before then.

Ok, everyone who was trying to click into Serpent's Ire but was not seeing it add to their schedule should be fixed now. Please let me know if you cannot see it. The event holds 210 attendees and has not yet filled as of this post.

I just checked and mine is showing up now too. Congrats on discovering which Goblin was doing it.

Are there going to be any more of the level 1 level 2 scenarios for pfs. I've been gming for a ROTRL and was really excited to learn the lore of PFS and Golarian a little more. The intro's to PFS filled up almost immediately. There is one available Monday, but waiting to play til Monday when the convention starts Friday seems crazy.

Will there be any open games for people that are new to PFS or am I out of luck???

Don't know if they're taking requests, but I'd humbly request 'Two-Fold Demise' as one of the offerings -- need to get my bard through that before he levels out of the range for it.

The other one which is pushing it even more is 'Valley of the Veiled Flame', but there's not nearly as much of a rush there.'
