So..I'm thinking about playing a Duergar Slaver for Hell's Vengeance

Advice

Ironically enough, after looking over the Hell's Vengeance player's guide, I instantly felt the urge to make a duergar slaver who actually wants to capture his enemies alive so he can sell them for a profit on the slave markets in Cheliax (or the Darklands if possible). Currently my duergar is going to be a ranger that can track down his enemies with an uncanny efficiency.

However, in order for this to work, I'm trying to find some magic items/gear that can help capture, secure, and transport slaves properly, and I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions. Don't ask me why, but I figured for an evil campaign, it would be kinda neat to see a duergar trying to capture his enemies alive...not out of mercy of course, but rather for profit.

You might consider Urogue with the sap master feat chain

As far as mundane supplies go, several sets of manacles (masterwork when you can afford them) will obviously be useful, or as much rope as you can carry, silk if you can afford it. Nets also seem appropriate - it'll take a feat to be proficient with them unless duergar get a proficiency I'm not familiar with, but being a ranged touch attack, they're pretty easy to hit with even with the nonproficiency penalty, and entangled is a pretty nice debuff.

For magic items, manacles of cooperation seem just the ticket, although at 2k a pop they add up quick. A robe of infinite twine at 1000 gold means you'll never be caught without rope again, which is always neat. Thorned manacles prevent magic escape, but at 35,600 gold they're obviously a later-game item.

As far as builds go, I'd look at building toward grappling - a ranger doesn't get any particular bonuses to it, but they should be able to do at least a reasonable job of it, especially if you're going Strength-based melee already. One or two feats should let you have a reasonable chance of succeeding, although if you want to go nuts with it brawler's got a bit more goodies for maneuvers.

you should maybe consider the slayers bounty hunter archetype.

lol, sadly my current strategy is to just take a -4 penalty on attack rolls to deal nonlethal damage (at least once) in order to knock out an enemy rather than kill them. After that, I'll probably need some sort of portable prison or something to help keep my 'stock' secure. Manacles are a must of course, but I'm also curious to know how much some of these slaves might for.

I mean, here is the basic breakdown...

Slave, common 75 gp
Slave, hard labor 100 gp
Slave, household 50 gp
Slave, slip (halfling) 100 gp
Slave, specialized 500 gp

However, I'm not really sure what some of my slaves might go for if they have class levels and such.

Class levels would probably throw them into the "specialized" category, although beyond that it'd be a matter of negotiating with your GM. Maybe points in the Appraise skill will help you get better deals.

There are traits that let you avoid or lessen penalties for non-lethal damage - Easy Way or the Hard Way is one.

EDIT: Blade of Mercy is another, but it comes with Sarenrae-related baggage - maybe talk with your GM to see if you could make a reflavored version.
