Sense Motive: 1d20 + 22 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 22 + 5 = 36
Seems like a trap. The Shadow Lodge is ever present to oppose the corruption and injustice of the Ten. Our anonymity is one of our most powerful weapons. Brothers and Sisters do not be disarmed! The Ten should not be able to catalog us like relics within their vaults.

I've got two, one who was retired when the faction they were disbanded and one with the boon.
Locally to me, there's three other retired Shadow Lodge characters (one VC) and two other players using the boon.
It was a popular faction around here.
The boon using Shadow Lodge characters are all on their third faction. Boon for the Shadow Lodge, boon for Scarzni...and now waiting to see if the Silver Crusade sticks around.

I have a character in the shadow lodge that just hasn't played since they disbanded... does that count?
Me too. I haven't leveled him up since playing him 3 years ago, either. At level 14, I don't expect to ever play him again. I know there are modules and stuff, but I've got other PCs I'd rather get up to high level and play those.

I only have 1 former Shadow Lodge, with no boon :(
Rinne, Priestess of Razmir Sorcerer level 9, now Grand Lodge, claims Razmir is one of the ten.
Baeleron Sul |
I carry on the spirit of the Shadow Lodge through my work with the Silver Crusade. Though, I have not had much opportunity to do that since I last saw Torch. I am still confused by that encounter. I will, however, continue to protect my fellow Pathfinders when called upon to do so!
(Baeleron Sul, Fighter 4, Bodyguard build with the Spirit of the Shadow Lodge boon. He played Rivalry's End right at 3rd level in time for that boon as well, and I think I've only played him twice since. Sooner or later, I'll get back to him).
Whistles the Song Thrush |
Flutter heads up the shadowlodge initiative for the scaled furred feathered and other pathfinders, making sure they're not sent needlessly to their deaths and are given a fair share of protective equipment for their work.
Or else.

My Magus, who's now level 13, RPed that the whole "Hold your leaders accountable" mantra was just a front, and that the real Shadow Lodge (pre-Faction status) was all about acquiring personal power. When [REDACTED] happened, he was more upset that Torch blew his cover, not that Torch did what he did.
He then joined Qadira, since acquiring personal wealth fell most in line with the goals of attaining power. After that short stint, he joined the Dark Archive. Maybe Zarta was secretly doing something similar, hoarding all those powerful artifacts...
So, in spirit, he's still pure Shadow Lodge, but with none of that "protect your fellow agent" nonsense =).

Hey all!
I am just curious as to how many characters are still members of Shadow Lodge (ie have the boon allowing membership). So lets have a roll call and see what we got. I am betting that most members are high level with quite a lot of influence (fame) or even VCs.
Vaer, my illustrious retired ex-torturer, was a member of Shadow Lodge for one scenario. Afterwards, I proceeded to turn all you dirty rat traitors into the Ten and hunt down and destroy Torch, or should I call him Bic (his flame was only as large as a small lighter when I was done with him).
