I'm thinking of making an Axe-thrower Ulfen Guard character for PFS.
The Ulfen Guard PC seems like a mix of Fighter and Barbarian...
So how could I make this character ideal work? How much of each class or even other classes like bloodrager, slayer, etc should I have?
Should I also focus on STR and get a Belt of Mighty Hurling (Lesser) for throwing axes?
The basic ideal is kinda like a Thor like character that uses axes. Start early level as melee axe build and move on to focusing on throwing one weapon via Ricochet Toss feat.

Well, I'd say that if you want to build a towering bastion of Rage, you should go Unchained Barb for the base and pick up Guarded Stance and its rage power line.
You can get heavy armor proficiency once you go Ulfen Guard with a Dedication, and yeah, at around level 7 you'll qualify for Ricochet Toss after getting Martial Focus at 5.
However, I'd say that if you want to go thrower, I'd rather have 16 DEX, Accurate Stance, Two-Weapon Fighting, and, of course, medium armor and save myself the Belt of Mighty Hurling.

This is just preference... But I really enjoy pairing Ulfen Guard with the Viking archetype for fighters. At 8th level (5 viking/3 Ulfen Guard) by choosing the Formal Training dedication you count as an 8th level fighter for feat qualifications, and your rage stacks with Viking's. Not only all of that but the flavor fits really well too.

I did seriously consider going with a pure viking. But I realised that viking takes away weapon training, which is required for the Ricochet Toss feat. Which us the linchpin of an axe thrower build.
Without Ricochet Toss, I would have to invest in half a dozen axes atleastAlex Mack |
Here's a bit of an odd idea which would work well mechanically for a thrower. Start with 4 levels of Ki-Strike Monk for everything a thrower could ask for plus a ki-pool awesome saves and flurry. Live the life of the renegade and do without armor for some time and latter switch to rapid shot and buy yourself a nice suit of ceremonial armor (now you are domesticated).
Far Shot monk offers most for the first 4 levels so moving on to fighter for two levels before becoming a guard at 7 would give you a boatload of feats to work with. These feats I'd obviously invest in startoss style and possibly Ricochet Toss.
