Arcane Strike question

Rules Questions

This is probably pretty basic, but just thought I'd ask.

Does Arcane Strike allow you to buff up any natural weapons you might have?

In particular, I am thinking about the claws you get as a bloodrager or sorcerer with either the Abyssal or Draconic bloodlines.

As written, it says "… a weapon …", and doesn't specify if it means a manufactured weapon only.

I'm assuming it allows you to buff up your natural attacks like, that. Just want to be sure.

Thanks in advance, all!

You are reading it correctly. It works with all weapons, and that includes natural weapons.

Gisher is correct. If something only works with manufactures weapons, it will use the more specific terminology. Weapons is a broader category.

Silver Crusade

I am eventually planning the same for my Dragon Disciple. Once you have Claw/Claw/Bite it's a pretty nice damage boost.

Cool! Thanks for that, Gisher!

I was hoping that's the case.

Doesn't add as big a buff as power attack, but it doesn't have any to hit penalties either, which is why I like Arcane Strike.

Thanks again!

You are very welcome.

If you haven't checked out the Blooded Arcane Strike feat or the Riving Strike feat yet, you should. They are pretty nice for a Bloodrager.

Also I notice that you can use Elemental Strike and Arcane Strike together if you are using Blooded Arcane Strike.

Oooooo!

That is a cool feat!

A real double whammy, that one is!

That would be great for a bloodrager, no doubt about it!
