Ioun bound(discovery) and Ioun wyrd

I have been thinking about making a crafting character and the Ioun wyrd has really interested me.

Now after looking at the Ioun Bound discovery . I have some questions on how they might interact with each other. It appears as though you could get both the bond object and familiar benefit with those two using the Ioun stone in the creation of the Ioun wyrd. Perhaps only after upgrading the Ioun stone but perhaps not.

How would you get both of the benefits? A construct may follow your orders, but it isn't a familiar.

so what stops you from having a familiar? there are a bunch of ways to get it without dips such as Eldritch Heritage, Familiar Bond, or VMC Witch off the top of my head

You cannot have both a bonded object and a familiar.
