p.59
The Wood Colossus has 3 slams... but has a humanoid shape... Where does the 3rd slam come from?
p.77
The Devastator attacks using "vile arms", but in the description, it's written "vile strikes". While they are the same, it is a little mistake to have 2 names.
p.134
I feel like something should be added that the Grim Reaper is constantly under the effect of haste.
p.166
The "SOLAR PITRI (AGNISHVATTA)" name is long enough to push one line down the CR rating :P
p.230
If the Shen has "all the natural attacks of a true dragon", where are the wing attacks? Something is missing that the Shen doesn't get them.
p.246
The Danava has 3 slams... What's the 3rd one if it only has 2 fists?
p.276
Shouldn't the Narwhal have a standard gore attack?

Beside the fact that I don't have a personal copy of Bestiary 5 yet, I'm really unsure if I want to check this one (even assuming I'll have time). Mythic rules were already enough of an added pain, but now psychic stuff too... and even worse, psychic Dragons...
Anyway, I can't check at the moment, so I don't even recall its name, but reading here and there I saw that Aeon who has four ranged that deal 10d6 force damage (10d6 each, not in total) and is, if I recall correctly, CR 18.
The attacks don't even have a short range. The guy can basically bomb from afar anyone and anything, including incorporeal beings, and there's little defense against force damage; so isn't either the damage too high or the CR too low (maybe even just for some typo)? That ability alone makes it a devastating war engine no less dangerous than a Balor. Possibly more.

I haven't even STARTED reading B5 yet, but I have to say that the editing is horrible. I have yet to see ONE SINGLE MONSTER without rampant errors!

Awww man! ;)
But more seriously, having seen how many little low-impact errors that every bestiary and monster book seems to slip through, and specifically having been the person to go through the recent bestiary errata and check to see which ones in these threads were correct (while applying the others we found elsewhere), I tried to use my knowledge of what types of errors were common in these threads to wipe them out early and with swift vengeance. Also, I think I caught all examples of the not-an-error but personal pet peeve of outsiders and aberrations that don't take ranks in their flexible class skills while taking ranks in other skills (for outsiders) or other Knowledge skills (for aberrations).

The same is true for the ghoran on page 119.

The DC for Confounding Coils is wrong. Listed DC is 21. It should be either 22 or 26.
10+Wis(8)= base of 18. Then either +8 for 1/2 HD or +4 for Spell level. I would lean towards 26 since it is an Su instead of Sp.
DC for trample is listed at 27, should be 33 (10+8[HD]+15[Str]), also Damage should be 2d6 (garg slam dmg per universal monster rules)+23(1.5x15 Str mod). Although the 4d6 could be a mythic ability.

The monarch second sight acts as thought sense, but the regular brain mole has second sight that acts as blindsight. While these are similar, thoughtsense has additional limitations for creatures with under 3 Intelligence. Shouldn't these be the same, or at least have the monarch have the version with fewer restrictions?

p 64 Kabandha Cyclops:
How does it wear a breastplate? Wouldn't that cover it's face and blind it and prevent it from using its bite attack? The description of the monster says it wears open shirts and armored coats, which wouldn't interfere with its face.
Also, its treasure says it has a greatclub, but its attack line in the stat block says 2 slams and a bite.

p. 119 Ghoran:
Is the light dependent feature correct? Does that mean that if it's cloudy for a week it will take 7d4 points of Constitution damage and die? That seems a lot harsher than regular plants when there's a week of storms an no sunlight.
Also, for the Ghorus seed ability, is there anything preventing a ghoran from planting multiple seeds, as long as not more than its HD due to the gaining of the negative levels? When the first one hatches, the original Ghorus dies, but when the others hatch, would the re-born versions die, since they weren't the ones who planted the seeds?

Hold Breath (Ex) Narwhals are expert deep divers, and a narwhal can hold its breath a number of minutes equal to 2 times its Constitution score.
The standard ability stats "6 times its Constitution score." If Narwhals are "expert deep divers", why should they hold their breaths 3 times less?

Matthew Downie |

A human can survive underwater for 2 rounds per point of Constitution according to the Suffocation rules. (2 minutes at 10 Constitution.)
The Narwhal one is 2 minutes per Con point - that works out at 28 minutes.
The Blue Whale one works out at 250 rounds or 25 minutes.
Real life whales rarely stay more than 20 minutes underwater, so it's fairly realistic.

p. 242 giant termite and termite swarm - There are some odd inconsistencies between these. The swarm has the lingering sting special ability, but the giant termite does not. Also, is the swarm supposed to be blind, as indicated in the weaknesses, because it has darkvision which seems to contradict this. Also, if the swarm is blind, I would guess the giant termite would be also.
