Blasphemy Demon: most of the text is the standard demon immune and what happens when defeated. the last line reads. (If you played a boon to examine this card, bury the boon.) would that effect trigger if say a person augured for barriers and this chap was still one of the three cards. or would you actual need to be looking for cards of its type>

Transmogrify: reads (When a character at your location encounters a monster, display this next to that monster. While displayed, the difficulty of checks to defeat that monster are decreased by your arcane/divine skill +1d6.) Am I reading the correctly the they would get their main die + skill bumps + 1d6 and no mythic bonus.?

Yes. Augury says "...examine the top 3 cards...". You played a boon and examined that card, so the Augury gets buried. The Blasphemy Demon doesn't care what you're going to do with the examined cards.

Right. Unless it's a check (using one of the listed stats) your Mythic Path doesn't apply, and this isn't a check.

thanks

Good thing to note on that Blasphemy Demon. If you hadn't seen it before and something like Augury or Spyglass had you examine it, you might miss that.

Thanks for pointing it out!

Hi folks. We were wondering if characters used their role card ability to examine, imrijka, arushelae, enora .. Etc .. And revealed the blasphemy demon .. Do their role cards get buried ? (Since we consider role cards as .. Well.. Cards .. But are they 'Boons')

Be really nasty if it did.. He he ...

You only bury a Boon that you Played.

Thank you sir.

Also on that note.. Adowyn is a cohort and cohort is not considered a boon - so won't be affected by the blasphemy demon right ?

Correct. Cohorts are not boons, so the Blasphemy Demon's power can't affect them.

Edit: Ninja-ed by Hawkmoon, woo.

Happy to be ninja-ed :)

Althougj technically Adowyn isn't the cohort but the character. Her cohort's name is Leryn

And to answer a question that was nullified, but still handy to know -- no, your role card is not a boon, just in case it ever matters.

I'm curious, what's the wording of Raise Dead? I don't remember exactly, but I think it's worded in a manner that of you hit the Umbral Dragon and buried your role, then died and got raised, you wouldn't get your role back from Raise Dead.

Lol, next thing you know, you're gonna try and convince us that Donahan's cohort is not named Alain...

Or that the Splendiferous Hat's cohort isn't Padrig with a side of Balazar.

Sovereign Court

No the Splendiferous Hat just has two Cohorts. You can't tell me Balazar is anything more than the Hat's mount.

EDIT: Oh my g... It all makes sense now!! The summoner always has a rune on their body matching the Eidolon. Balazar's is on his hat! He's a phony, it's his hat who is the true Summoner, and Padrig's master!!!

Not at all. The Splendiferous Hat is almighty. He doesn't need any cohort. just maybe a gnome mount from time to time.

Sovereign Court

I'm predicting it now, the next pet/cohort iconic is going to be a gelatinous cube that needs to absorb his cohort from the waist up to be mobile.

Ok I wrote that completely sarcastically, but that may be the most amazing thing to ever happen to any RPG if it really did happen.
