Improved Snapshot feat only extends the range of the Snapshot feat by 5 feet, not 10.

Retrain Improved Snapshot, Snapshot, and any feat prerequisites.

What about Combat Reflexes? A lot of archers took it as part of the build but it is pointless if you retrain out of the chain.

Sure. Combat Reflexes should have been part of the list.

I spent 15 prestige to retrain into the feat chain 4 days before it got nerfed. But I'm happy they are letting me retrain for free. But I'm playing this weekend and now have to pick 4 feats.

I'm a Monk (Quinggong/Zen Archer) 10/ Fighter (Weapon Master) 3
I took the Fighter levels for the Weapon Mastery/Gloves of Dueling combo,

My feats are

Toughness
Improved Initiative
Improved Unarmed Strike
Weapon Focus
Weapon Specialization
Point Blank Shot
Precise Shot
Improved Precise Shot
Deadly Aim
Point Blank Master
Perfect Strike
Clustered Shots
Skill Focus Perception
Additional Traits
Improved Critical

My saves are pretty good at Fort +18, Ref +17, Will +23.
I have 14 Ki and get Ki Leech next level as a 0 cost SLA so Ki isn't an issue.

Looking for suggestions.

Combat Reflexes + Mobility + Combat Patrol will let you get back some of what you lost, and will be augmented by your Fast Movement. Works a little better for an Unchained Monk's full BAB, but your Fighter levels help. Even if you take a tiny penalty to accuracy, consider scrolls, potions, or a wand of Enlarge Person, for better simulated 'reach'.

Sczarni

You could take snake style and benefit from combat reflexes, as well. Your sense motive skill needs to be reasonable, though.

Oh, and Quick draw feels appropriate.

hammer the gap, manyshot, disrupting shot, far shot, lob shot,

critical focus, bleeding critical, sickening critical, flaying critical

snap shot is still pretty good

Animal Soul + Animal Ally + Boon Companion.

This would get you a wolf animal companion at full character level. With a few cheap items even if you have dumped charisma you should be able to get to +9 or +11 fairly easily to auto succeed on checks. If you are Aasimar you can take this a step further and get celestial companion.

Take the bodyguard archetype and give it feats like; Combat Reflexes, Bodyguard, In Harms Way, Improved Natural Attack, Vital Strike, Power Attack

With minimal investment you have a dangerous tripper or a great guard dog. Set him to protect the squishy of the party and he can boost AC, take hits or vital strike for 4d6+ 21, and that is before giving it any magical gear at all.

If you like the idea of the bodyguard boost, you could give it the additional traits feat, and pick Adopted (halfling) for helpful, allowing it to give +4 to AC with aid another. This would work best if you are a halfling, but could be explained in other ways.

Scarab Sages

You could also go with Familiar Bond + Iron Will + Improved Familiar Bond. You could use a mauler familiar to do the same tricks as a a companion, but it would be smarter, share your base attack bonus, and not need handle animal checks.

The Mauler familiar idea interests me. But even with DR 5/magic combat at level 13 will be unhealthy for it.
The Companion would have a better chance of living but I have 7 Cha and no ranks in Handle Animal.
Combat Patrol would work except I have to skip my turn to do it. Pass.
Only 1 rank in Sense Motive. It is still pretty high but not enough to use for Snake Style.

A bit more info. My stats are
Str 14
Dex 14 (16)
Con 14
Int 7
Wis 22 (28)
Cha 7

And my skills are Acrobatics +27 (+39 to jump), Perception +36, and 1 rank in a few other skills.

AC is usually 36 (27 touch, 33 FF) and my CMD is 39.

The Exchange

A friend of mine took the Dimensional Savant line of feats for abundant step because zen archers literally need nothing at that point. It's just a really cool and fun feat line.
