I just want to take a moment to thank John Compton for taking the time—during GenCon, what must be the most stressful and busy time of year for him—to listen to player concerns over the recent pair of errata documents, AND for letting us know that he is listening!
Thank you.
Don't let them get you down.

John --
You have been wonderful throughout. Your calm voice and consideration to the player base in such a stressful time is much appreciated.
BTW, distressed as I am to the changes to my Oradin, I am trying (hard) not to be an upset grumpy pants on these boards. My apologies if today my posts have slid into grumpy-pants territory.
Hmm

John is a man after my own heart, still posting to the messageboards even while attending a convention.
Thanks, John! Your passion, commitment, and communication are always greatly appreciated!
Yes, John is awesome. For those of us not at GenCon, it's like things are still ticking along as normal. That is definitely above and beyond the call.

It means a lot. Amen to this. This errata is... not kind. It's good that someone is at least listening.

Thanks, John. Your dedication and openness has been spectacular.

I hope you're the one chosen to succeed Mike Brock as successor.. you deserve it.
Apart from what I may think about those errata themselves, I think the way John has been handling the impact of it on PFS is exemplary.

That would be awesome. And from me as well, thank you John!
More well deserved ego feeding. John your awesome! Keep doing what you do. Couldn't be happier about the job you do for PFS and how well you interact with everyone at cons and on the boards (not an easy job).

Resurrecting this thread to again say Thank You to John Compton for having all of the ranks in Diplomacy, as evidenced by this response.
This campaign and community is fortunate to have you leading the way for us. Thank you.
Everyone: Please remember this is a thread to praise John and his hard work, not to criticize other posters. Keep that in mind if you choose to reply.

ALL PRAISE JOHN COMPTON, OUR MIRACULOUS OVERLORD WHO CAN DO NO WRO*is tackled and drug off*
Seriously though. Watching him at PaizoCon, it is clear he tries to listen to everyone as best he can, as well as handle the bombardment of questions thrown at him.
Yay and what not. Ironic woo. Other stereotypical teenage behavior.
I want to thank John because if he hadn't written a particular scenario I wouldn't exist!
Does that make him like, my Godfather or something?
