May I be a Halfling with a social identity of a child (in PFS)?

I'm a Halfling Vigilante. My vigilante identity is a Bellflower Tiller. I want my social identity to be a child, but I'm not sure if that's legal or not.

I've got a similar concept but the social identity is a florist instead of a child! :)

Would it require the childlike and/or human-looking feat(s)?
When you say Bellflower Tiller, are you talking going into the prestige class or just fluff?
Regarding PFS, it does bring questions like "Why would Drendle Dreng wake you up in the middle of the night and send you on a dangerous mission, a wedding or a diplomatic mission - if you're a child" but it could be explained by the VCs knowing your real identity, you revealing your identity to the other players (are there any downside to other knowing your real identity?)

The Exchange

Bellflower Tiller was just fluff, not the PrC.

I was hoping that the dual identity ability could allow me to skip on the Childlike feat.

Any yeah, I was thinking the VCs could know my real ID but not the PCs, although I wouldn't go out of my way to prevent them from knowing.
Although it might be fun to have the child run away as soon as they reach the city, then the vigilante shows up and he's like "the child is safe but you'll only get him back if I remain alive at the end of your mission."

Its legal and kinda cool. I'm just not sure what your excuse for going on the mission is. There's only so many times you can bluff "its bring your daughter to work day"

Or... Like Comissioner Gordan, the VCs in the Society aren't trying to contact the social identity, because hey do not know who it is. Maybe they try to contact the vigilante directly, by flashing the bat signal in the sky. Just a thought.

I wouldn't put the pathfinder society above child endangerment.

Remember the kid from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom? He was a cab driver. Bring a Halfling, you could easily pass as a servant, slave, porter, etc.

As for not taking the Childlike feat, I am not 100% sure, but I would be tempted to say the Dual Identity ability does not allow you to change your age by much, mostly just your social standing.

My character, Perennius Flynn aka The Silver Fox, is a florist by day and a vigilante by night, also a Bellflower Tiller. The social persona is older (close to middle-age with grey-ish hair, etc.) but you can't see it when he is wearing his costume. Who would believe an older Halfling to be the legendary Silver Fox, defender of the oppressed and liberator of the enslaved. However, it is within the possibility of the rules to be roughly the human equivalent of 40-45 years old. Being a child complicates things and for PFS, I would suggest the Childlike feat to avoid confusion and possibly putting the GM in a difficult position because it could possibly give you an unfair advantage if, for example, you are trying to convince a guard of your innocence since "you're only a child!"

Thus said, I would just apply a penalty to your disguise checks because that's basically what Childlike eliminates (I know it gives you other bonuses but very minor ones...)

I think I'll have my child persona have a whole schtick where she's one of the Bellflower Road Networks' contacts in the pathfinder society. She purposely tries to become a slave herself in order to locate slavers and then goes in to vigilante ID and kills them and/or frees other slaves.

I will take the childlike feat. I was hoping that the Dual Identity ability could make it so I don't need it, but that's clearly not intended. I believe a short clause along the lines of this is in order

Here's one thing you really need to remember. The idea that children have rights of their own, is a product of a very modern world.

Golarion is not that world.

I wanted to know if it's legal to create a vigilante that has a human child social identity and a halfling adult vigilante identity, not to know whether it's legal in Golarion to have a proper standing in modern society as a child.

My question has been answered, sort of: I can if I take the Childlike feat.
