Howdy howdy
So I saw in another thread (that I can not seem to find now) a small list of things that should be usuable in social mode etc.
I coudln't find a thread directly dedicated to that so I figured i'd make one.
if there is already one, can someone link it in this one please?
Personally I am of the camp thinking that talents should be freely usable in both persona.. (except for things that don't make sense. Like the class ability that startles them when you attack them unseen in costume). (Plus its weird to think of fighting someone in your vigilante form and easily destroying them. but then going to normal mode and having a hard if not impossible time of it)
In either case the point of this is to point out talents that should be usuable in both versions, that make sense etc.

Do note.. I'm not entirely sure i'm right with regards to what can and can not be used in social mode and not. honestly its a bit confusing so feel free to correct
So Warlock:
Casting by current wording. I think you can use arcane casting 1 in both persona. BUT can not use any further ones outside of your vigilante
The casting talents that allow you to hide the casting better than the silent/still metamagics. So you can cast a charm spell in social mode to help cover or something.. Silent/Still metamagic removes the componets but doesn't actually hide the casting and power.. That ability they get that actually completely hides it screams social.
THe arm tattoo and wand thingy. This seems like it's meant to be secret using as well.. and well the vigilante side I feel like has less of a need to hide wand use.
Off the top of my head those are the ones that scream "both guises"
I'll add more as I come across them but hopefully others chime in.

I totally agree. My list would be:
Unexpected Strike: Who expects some softy noble to be packing?
Unkillable: If you've taken enough damage for that to matter your cover is probably blown, or you should at least be able to move away to change fast.
Another Day: If they're slitting noble throats maybe this will be nessessary
Concealed casting: as mentioned it's best if no one else sees you cast charm person
Tattoo Chamber: getting an extra hand for use activated items is great but it being hidden seems to be an intended feature
Stalwart: Resisting effects is good for everyone
Stern Gaze: Nobles are pretty intimedating if they're business savy
